“Took our son and some friends here for pizza last weekend after a frisbee tournament. The ambiance is very casual (benches at tables inside) which was perfect. The thin crust pizzas were ready VERY quickly and were really tasty. Hungry teenage boys easily ate an entire 16 pizza each. The sausage pizza and the ham and artichoke were definitely the favorites! Had 2 desserts which were also super yummy.“

“My husband and I went on a dinner date to Little Italy, it was our first time visiting and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious! Our waitress(Anna) was great and super sweet. She made sure we were taken care of. We’ll definitely be returning!“

“Oh my days! A true 'Mom and Pop' family business serving THE BEST Italian sandwiches and desserts (and much more) you could ever hope to find. Everything is delicious, authentic, and of the very highest quality. My 100% go-to place. Try the Rotisserie Turkey or Italian meatball sandwiches and follow up with anything containing their home-made lemon curd. Heaven!“

“I went to BLL for the first time the other night and was very impressed. We got the cheese ravioli, shrimp scampi, and arrincini. Everything was excellent. Our server was very kind and had great suggestions. The restaurant isn't huge inside but they have lots of seating and it has a charming atmosphere. I don't know what took us so long to check this place out but I'm glad we found it.“

“Took my daughter and her bridal party out for dinner. The food was amazing, and so was Rocky, our server! We started with fried calamari & onion rings. Both were fried perfectly. Most of the girls got the Baked Ziti for dinner and raved about the Marinara sauce and Meat Sauce. My daughter had the Parmesean chicken and said it was "absolutely delicious"! I had a 12" flatbread (create your own), and the pull with the cheese had my mouth watering. With the first bite, I knew I'd want to visit again! We all took to-go boxes because we wanted to not only enjoy it the next day but also wanted to have room for the AMAZING chocolate canolis we had for dessert.Highly recommend this quaint little place. If you have a party larger than 6, I recommend calling ahead to give them a heads up. They will accommodate, but seating is limited. They take great care of their guests, so I know they'd appreciate it. Rocky was wonderful and made our experience fun! We didn't want for anything, and the good came out in no time!Vegetarian options: You can create your own item, and sauces are offered with and without meat.Parking: Located on a strip-mall so parking is shared with other businesses.Kid-friendliness: This is a family style restaurant. Any age is welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: Seating is limited, but tables and chairs can be moved to accommodate.“

“Found a great little Italian place on the north side of town. Clean and well lighted. Service was quick and caring. Love their sauce which had just the right amount of onion and bell peppers and I'm pretty sure by the color that they used San Marzano tomatoes and a hint of sweet. I had the lasagna and my wife had the spaghetti, both of which were excellent. We saw a couple of pizzas go by that also looked very good. Prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes which were more than adequate. Seems like a family owned business and I think they have been there for a while. We will definitely return if we are in that area around dinner time.“

“Ok, full disclosure.... I'm not a fan of diners, I know it's so very Un American of me! I expected to leave WestTown disappointed and underwhelmed but I was pleasantly surprised on this trip. I got the Greek omelet with bacon and it was flavorful and stuffed full of tomatoes, spinach and feta. The home fries were crispy and seasoned nicely too. My friend ordered the two egg breakfast that comes with a third egg free if requested. She's southern by birth and gave the accompanying biscuit and sausage gravy a thumbs up. The mimosa flight was disappointing as it tasted more like juice than a bubbly mimosa. But at $10, it shouldn't surprise anyone that it isn't heavy on the alcohol. I would suggest bumping up the price and balancing out the ratio. All in all, I typically avoid diners that have such extensive menus but for a solid breakfast at a great price, I will visit WestTown again. On a fun note, they've recently added a soup flight after a social media post on a "Winston Eats FB Page" requested that such a thing should exist. So far, great reviews on that so maybe I'll try that next time too! Service was fast and friendly ....ambiance is what you would expect. ...Nice family run, casual spot! New ownership so if you've tried them in the past, might be worth another try..... but you really need to be a diner person too“

“The pizza was amazing! The wings tasted great, but were incredibly tiny, especially for the price. Delivery was the biggest problem. You can't get a hold of anyone when you call the restaurant. Do NOT use the Slice app! They completely screwed up our delivery, and were rude about it! I'll try dining in next time.“

“My father and I were frequent customers back in 1996. My mother was at Forsyth hospital and this was our getaway. My husband and I were in Winston for the day so of course I had to eat here. Mind you it’s been 27 years since I visited Winston. The food is still delicious! Make sure to try one of their homemade desserts!“

“Bottom line: Mario's Pizza turned out some good pizza slices to take home and enjoy. Only cheese and pepperoni slices were available with no other toppings for take out slices that night and a longer than expected wait during a holiday week paid off though in the end, enjoyable thin slice NY style pizza. The Deets: Over the holiday season, of course there was that one night that the mood for cooking had long since passed and we wanted something simple and low key...pizza, right? Word was from my family that Mario's Pizza was the local business to hit for some good pizza so we committed to going here. Deciding on cheese pizza slices and a slice of pepperoni to pick up (as they were not doing any other slice types for the evening we were told, maybe volume or staffing?), we phoned in our order and drove off in the soaking rain to pick it up. We had one person that wanted "everything" on one of the slices so there was a bit of compromise. My guess about order volume may be true as when I arrived and paid for the order, I was then informed that it would be at least another 15 minutes. I was not alone in waiting for orders as the time went on, more came in and waited on orders, so these guys were busy and popular but not too many people were actually sitting in the restaurant eating (they have a good sized seating area)...the take out volume of business was probably a good sign about how good they are, hopefully. That hope paid off...their New York style pizza was pretty tasty. Their pizza had thin crust which I like, as well as fairly good slice size. I'd say for a pretty solid pizza choice in the Clemmons/Lewisville area, I would definitely visit Mario's Pizza again in the future. I normally would say more 3-3.5 stars for the lack of toppings available on slices and the pretty long wait even after a good drive over but I have to give them the benefit of the doubt since it was a holiday week and say go with 4 stars as they got the job done, the pizza was good, and the staff was nice when waiting/picking up the meal.“

“Always great service with this team every time I come in. It's been there for a while since I was a youngin, family use to always go for a quick lunch or when we had family night. The food is always great and staff friendly. The only thing and it's not the staffs fault at all is the seating the booths are tight for some bigger people, or like those of us who wear bodyarmor carriers and so on. The booths are solid so there is no moving or such, maybe one day they will buy out a new building or take on one of neighbors stores, but reguardless the place is still one of the best pizza spots in WS.“

“I often order Mediteraneo for the Stromboli and calamari which are fantastic! Their pizzas are serviceable, but not out of this world. We also order the Italian sub and love their gyro. I haven’t eaten in the restaurant, but I’ve had a confusing experience with their staff at the register which is why I docked a star for service. Sorry for the photos! Hungry family was not amused with me taking them when they were ready to eat!Kid-friendliness: I have adventurous eaters that love to try new foods and really enjoy trying the different offerings Mediterraneo has! There is also a large selection of typical kid approved foods.“

“Ordered a dessert pizza to share with some of my fiancé's coworkers, and it was really good! The price wasn't bad either. The frappe I got for myself while waiting for the pizza to cook was a little more pricey than I was used to, but since it was an orange cream one I was willing to shell out a little bit more change. Great looking interior, and reminded me of an upscale loft apartment.Parking: Shared strip mall parking.“

“We have eaten here often on Sundays when most of the restaurants in Mocksville are closed. This week, there was a new waiter, and we didn't wait long for our dinners.Vegetarian options: Several of the spaghetti options are vegetarian. The Spaghetti a la Venice is delightful; with fresh garlic, tomatoes, green peppers, mushrooms and black olives. Everything that I have had on the menu, has been very good.“

“They are not known for seafood but their Seafood Pescatore and calamari are the best. It’s always fresh and hot. Even when I have ordered it to go. No complaints. Don’t get me wrong. They have a lot of great food on the menu. Their pizza and subs are great as well but if you would like something different don’t be afraid to try anything on their menu. They will not disappoint you.“

“This neighborhood Italian spot has been around for over 20 years now. Unfortunately, Covid resulted in the restaurant stopping dining in in early 2022 because they were not able to employ adequate staff. They still offer take out and deliver from a much reduced menu. I wanted a Stromboli, but this Italian classic is no longer offered. So instead I took a lunch special - 1/2 Italian Sub with a salad and fountain drink for $8 and some change. The order was available quickly and I was on my way. This was a nice lunch - the salad was fresh tasting and flavorful, bolstered by the house Italian dressing. The sub was quite nice as well, well filled with ham, salami, pepperoni, and cheese, then topped with lettuce, tomato. & mayo on nice crusty roll. A good lunch at a very good price!“

“Excellent Italian food, way better than what one would normally expect from one located in a strip mall, so don't let appearances fool you. The Italian food was something I'd expect from a high class Italian dining establishment, but casual enough I could take my family (kids) there to enjoy the basic spaghetti and pizza (which is also excellent).Parking: Shares parking with a shopping center, so plenty of parking is available.Kid-friendliness: Perfectly fine for kids and family.“
