Mutzies | Burger • Fries Reviews

Just had lunch here while passing through, great food, great service and Mary was such a sweet lady. Will be back when in the area.
I absolutely love this place. We eat here a lot. The food is always great. It is close to our home and the staff is wonderful. Even if it was not close to home we would still eat at Mutzies!

Mutzies | Burger • Fries is a beloved old school burger joint located in Lincolnton, North Carolina. Known for its classic burgers and hot dogs, it offers a simple yet delicious menu that keeps customers coming back. The hot dog baskets are highly recommended and praised for their great taste, complemented by onion rings with Boom-Boom Sauce that are described as great. The burgers are considered some of the best, with soft, sweet bread and tender, flavorful meat that melts in the mouth. Customers also enjoy the fries, especially when ordered extra crispy, and appreciate the fresh, crispy fried pickles. The staff is generally friendly and provides excellent service, making the experience enjoyable. Despite the cozy, old building, cleanliness is maintained well. Many visitors express a strong desire for the restaurant to open at night, believing it would be very popular. However, some recent reviews mention a decline in food quality and service, citing issues like oil-tasting tater tots, higher prices, and less friendly attitudes. Overall, Mutzies is seen as a local treasure for its nostalgic, good old-fashioned food and welcoming atmosphere, though some feel it has experienced a recent decline.
