“My husband and I finally tried Bridgett’s Kitchen yesterday for supper and it was very good. We had hesitated to go just because I’m not a big fan of BBQ. There’s so much more than bbq on the menu which was great. I had the hamburger steak with grilled onions and mushrooms, creamed potatoes and salad. It was very good. My hubby had the smoked meatloaf, baked beans and mac and cheese, again very good! Bridgette and her husband were very friendly, as well as the staff, checking on their customers in a family like atmosphere. We look forward to checking out the upcoming fall menu and plan to go back again soon.”

“Oh my goodness! My partner and I were briefly in town, passing through after the Cheer wine festival in Salisbury. We walked in, and we were immediately greeted with smiles and hellos and free bbq lunch! Everyone present, not just the staff, was super friendly and fun to talk to! The cigar selection was excellent, the cocktail beverages were delicious and well poured; and the prices were terrific. we will be back!!!”

“I remember eating here as a child in the 70's. Then traveling from Raleigh to Charlotte for work, it was always a stop. Once a colleague said as we arrived, "this place is going to be good, it has the perfect mix of BMW's and pick up trucks." This addage still holds true today. The food was amazing as always.”

“It’s been more than 15 years since I last visited Speedy’s BBQ after moving out of the area. It’s always a bit of a question after that much time how a place holds up. So excited to see this place sticking to tradition and clearly has not floundered over the years.
This is top of the line NC pork bbq! Always has been and continues to one of my very favorite places to find this style of bbq done right.
The staff is friendly and welcoming and the service on point. It’s been redecorated some since my last visit but continues to have nice country appeal.
I had the chopped bbq sandwich with slaw. I found the best way to eat it is dump it opened onto plate and then drenched in their homemade sauce. Hit the spot!
Definitely wish I still lived closer but will always stop in when passing through.”
