“Mad Co specializes in beer and pizza. Both are fresh and excellent. Te kitchen is open so you can watch them prepare the food. The bartendress was very helpful and knowledgeable about their products, the history of Mad Co, and their efforts to recover from hurricane Hellene. It was quiet for an early Saturday evening because Marshall, NC is still recovering from Hellene. If you are in the area, stop by for a beer or two, some pizza, and help everyone there continue to recover from the devastation. Everyone we met were pleasant and appreciative for us to be there. “What a terrific local watering hole. As you enter, you can immediately tell this is a spot where locals come to chat with their friends over a cold beer. As someone relatively new to the area, I stopped in for the first time and was immediately greeted and made to feel welcome. The second time I came in, Holly, who was working the bar, greeted me by name and remembered my beer preference. Frankly, I'm thinking I could use a cold beer right now... maybe I'll see you there!“
