“We live just north of the village and come here often. Love Yellow Mug! Order at the counter, find a table indoors or out, they will find you when your food is ready. Terrific fresh-ground coffee, creative breakfasts, sandwiches, salads (I love The One with Quinoa and Butternut Squash—yes, that is its name). Very fresh food, veg/vegan and GF options, beer and wine, excellent wifi….one of our favorite places!!!“

“Phillip and his staff are just wonderful! this is a hidden gem off the Appalachian trail in down town Hot springs NC. Its full of handmade art and souvenirs the coffee and ice cream are out of this world! what a wonderful place to visit. And that's no lie...If your driving threw Hot Spring its a must stop to visit.“

“To be honest, we drove by several times to other restaurants. We finally decided to look up the menu. Boy are we glad we went for dinner! We had 2 apps, 4 dinners and 4 desserts. Everything was fantastic! Top notch cuisine! Flavors were out of this world. Patrick A. was fantastic!“

“Easily some of the best pizza in Carolina. Seriously good, sauce is wicked all by itself self. Toppings generous and crust is simply done right. Shane that description doesn’t match most pizza places but it certainly does Blue Mountain. A gem in Weaverville. Staff super friendly. And the butter pecan ice cream? I’m not a good enough writer to begin to say how good that was. Easily tops Graeter’s of Cincinnati…and if you’re an ice cream connoisseur as I am, you’ll know what high praise that is. Just a fantastic lil place serving great food!“

“I'd like to say this is the worst place to eat because the food and service is the terrible. But it would be a total lie and only serving to keep the line short so that I can get to my delicious wrap, sandwich, pastry, or coffee much quicker. This is a gem of a food truck and the folks that work there are simply the best. As a whole, they have become an important part of our Reems Creek community.“

“The Well-Bred Bakery & Cafe is always at the top of my list of delish places to visit when I'm in Asheville NC just a short drive over to Weaverville. Incredible handmade Panini sandwiches, scratch made sides, fresh brewed coffees & espresso's..and don't forget to save some room for a sweet treat from their World Class dessert cases. Simply nothing in this place not to enjoy. A true jewel hidden in a charming spot in the Smokey Mountains.“
