“Amber so friendly and efficient ! My bf had been before but was my first time ! Fried mushrooms and cold cold beer to start .. then I got the Patty melt and fries ( had to bring half home ) He got the Meatball sub and onion rings but nothing left to bring home ! “This was our second visit. Kaylee’s service was prompt and professional despite her having (at least) a 12-top right beside us. Steak and Cobb salad were both excellent, and the bread pudding with ice cream dessert was one of the best things I’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be back again.“

“We had a surprise birthday party for a family member today!! What a great time. We had use of the Queens room, The food was great as usual but I need to bragg especially in our server Jeanette. She was amazing she handled us all with efficiency and grace!! I know we drove her crazy but she was amazing!!!! Thank you John’s place for a wonderful time and again kudos to Jeanette !!!“

“I’ve been to just about every Que Onda location around Charlotte, but finally remembered to take photos at the Matthews spot tonight. As a California-born taco lover, I’m almost embarrassed to admit how incredible the tacos are here... because I’ve eaten at just about every hole-in-the-wall from Tijuana and all up and down the East Coast. I know good tacos, and this place absolutely deserves its flowers.
Every single taco was phenomenal, but the steak is out of this world. The flavors are bold, the textures are on point, and the tortillas hold everything together without falling apart, which is a bigger deal than people realize. If you appreciate real tacos and not just “taco-adjacent” food, Que Onda is well worth checking out.“

“Hosted a Milestone birthday on 9/13/25 with 50 people and it was AMAZING! From the initial planning all the way to the night of the party, Bobby, Scotty and the entire staff were impeccable! Everyone who attended is STILL talking about how great it was. I HIGHLY recommend for a Private gathering. We love Stumptown Station!“
