“I am not quite ready to go home yet so I decided to stop here for a beer and wouldn't you know it, there was a hole in the bottom of my glass. I got a second beer and the same thing happened. Very defective glassware here! (sarcasm!)About 90 minutes for two beers with some wifi where I cranked out a Yelp review or two, watched people coming and going, and had a chance to wind down. “Hole in the wall dive bar. Nice vibes and cheap beer. Drinks are good and there’s pool and darts, never too busy but I’ve only been on Tues & Wednesday nights so far. Sweet lady sells plates of home cooked food as well and it’s delicious. Nice hangout I look forward to coming here after work with my friends“
“Good old D&B. Came here on a Thursday and the deals are great. 4 stars because a handful of machines were down, but the staff was very helpful in letting us play some different games when a machine took the credits and didn’t work. ?️?“
“Loveeeeee this place. It never disappoints. Pollo a la brasa 10/10, ceviche 7/10, anticuchos 10/10! They also have Pilsen Callao beer. I haven't tasted food like this in charlotte since I was living in Peru!! Definitely recommend it's worth it !“
“I’ve heard about Anju through some people that I follow on social media. They have only posted amazing picture and said great things about this place and I can confirm they’re on point with what they say. Charlotte needs a restaurant like Anju, bringing diversity, something new and executing delicious food and welcoming service! I treated myself to a solo dinner and it was exactly what I needed. David, my bartender, guided me through the menu with both food and beverages. We made great conversation and it was just a great experience overall. Anyone who enjoys good food and something new should definitely take the opportunity to come here!“

“Lunch date with my daughters and some friends. First time visiting this restaurant. The food and service were outstanding. We tried several dishes. Lomo saltado, chaufa rice, salad , sandwich de pollo and Cuban fried rice. Every dish was delicious. We will definitely return soon !“
“One of my go to rooftop bars in Charlotte. I love the diversity of the chairs. You got bar seats, sectionals, those big egg lookin rattans. Is rattan a word? Idk, feels right. Drinks are great, service is great, views are great. I dinged a star cause one time they wouldn’t let me and a friend sit at the bar when we really really wanted to sit at the bar. “Lovely plant-filled dining area that was comfortable despite the chilly weather. We enjoyed our early evening meals served by attentive staff. All of our various entrees were good (4 of us with different choices). The only very minor complaint was that my mother discovered her rice pudding was slightly under baked when we got home (she took dessert as a carry-out).“
