“My brother and I had, if not, the best experience dining in Charlotte here at Rada. The hospitality out of the gate was undeniable with remembered faces and full name greetings at the door, not to mention we were sat immediately (although volume and atmosphere made it seem like a full house…design with intent).

We dined on a night they were running a collaborative menu with another chef, Cristian Medrano, and every dish that hit the table was phenomenal. The aged duck and fried sweetbread are a must.

Something I personally took note of was the wine list they carried, providing wines that are not usually listed in restaurants across the city/state. They have a unique international range, covering most regional and profile differences which made it an exciting read.

Lastly, the hospitality from Eloy (the owner) and Erika (our server) was outstanding. The floor staff here has some of the most operationally efficient systems in place and still seamlessly maintained top-tier hospitality.

“Great food and great service. Got there with a reservation and we were seated within about 5 minutes of our reservation time. It was pretty crowded but wasn't too much of a problem.

Food was really good, got some of the shareable plates for the two of us to share, the brussel sprouts were great and loved the short rib croquettes.

The cocktail menu was extensive and the ones we tried were very good.

Even though it was crowded didn't feel like we were crowded at the table. We were able to have a good conversation without feeling like we had to worry about others hearing us.

“On Friday 8/23, we came to The Crunkleton on a recommendation for my daughter’s birthday and we were NOT disappointed! From the moment we walked in the atmosphere and the staff were wonderful! We had Cole as our server and regardless of how busy it was that night, he made us feel like we were his only priority. He was very knowledgeable about your massive spirit selections and I mean massive! The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. We got the Really Good Burger and let me tell you, we said medium and it was on point! It was very well seasoned which is rare when you go out to restaurants. Then to top off the night, my daughter got the beignets with the cold brew icing, WOW! I am a sweets person and these with that icing just WOW! Cole even put a candle on the rim of the dish because it was her birthday! So, you have our business any time we are in Charlotte! I just can’t say enough about our experience!!! You have a great place, amazing food, a wonderful spirits collection, and definitely not last or least a fantastic server in Cole!! Thank you for making my daughter’ s birthday and my first time in Charlotte such a great memory!!!“

The MOST impressive was Tommy and his extensive knowledge in wines and sparkling wines.. he took our table on an incredible journey pairing delicious wines and trivia with the exquisite dishes that Will and the boys prepared. I personally had the bison bolognese with handmade pasta and he brought an insanely awesome Cab out to pair it with- Dude was cruising around casually in a t-shirt absolutely OWNING his craft. For the first time in 10+ years I didn’t feel like I was caught up in a get-in/get-out high dollar dining scheme- rather, it was an amazing immersive experience. “A night to remember at The McNinch House 🌹✨ Growing up, my Dad wasn’t just an industrial engineer—he was a hobby chef with serious skills. He spent his childhood in restaurants, and at home, he brought that magic to our table. I didn’t grow up eating “normal kid food,” and to this day, he’s the best cook I know. My love for food? 100% from him. The McNinch House has been on my list for over a decade—and let me tell you, it was worth the wait. Executive Chef Eric O’Connor, who joined just a year ago, blew us away. We had the 4-course tasting menu (I truly don’t know how people survive the 5-course!), and every dish was a standout: *Corn & Clam Chowder – the cream is everything *Bone Marrow – best I’ve ever had *Lamb Lollipops (my husbands) – best I’ve ever had; perfectly cooked *Pork Wellington (my husbands) – the basil took it over the top *Snapper Succotash – the bacon made it *Crème Brûlée – perfectly done From the surprise oyster starter (cool presentation served in a shell over ice) to the palate-cleansing sorbet between courses, every detail was thoughtful and special. Chef Eric personally served our entrée—how cool is that? The service was impeccable, with a main server and 2-3 others helping throughout. At the end, they even handed me a freshly picked rose from their garden. 💐 We dined in a historic 1800s home filled with charm, and afterward strolled through the garden—flowers everywhere, twinkle lights, fountains, and the Charlotte skyline in view. I had to ask for the chef’s autograph and a photo—he’s just that good. We told him he deserves a star, and he smiled and said, “We’re on the list.” So now I’m shouting from the rooftops: let’s help make that Michelin star happen! He absolutely deserves it. Thank you, Chef Eric and the entire McNinch House team, for one of the most enchanting, romantic, and memorable meals I’ve ever had in Charlotte. “Loved the food! Not a complaint just feedback... Love the atmosphere in the parameter of the dining area but the middle feels out of place because it has such bright lighting. If they could dim those just even a little the whole ambiance would change and I bet people wouldn't talk so loud either. Overall though it's a great place for dinner, lunch, or just drinks.“

The calamari was a perfect start, followed by a dreamy pasta with clams in a delicate white wine sauce, a rich and satisfying eggplant Parmesan, and a seafood marinara that felt like a little taste of the coast.

I saved the tiramisu for later, and it ended up being one of the highlights! It was light, indulgent, and absolutely exceeded my expectations. “What a fun spot to visit while in town! My girlfriend had been wanting to try it, so we took the opportunity while I was staying with her this week.

We did make reservations for a Monday night, though it wasn't busy at all, so you could probably swing by on a whim should you want to during the week.

The place was a bit elusive to find, as you have to look for the '3 dot sign' with a staff member guarding the door, which I'm sure is the intent!

Once you enter, you walk down a long, candlelit hall, which sets the speakeasy mood right away. Upon entering, the classic speakeasy vibe hits you! Dim lighting, leather chairs, a beautiful bar stocked to the brim with whiskey, bourbon, scotch, and all the other good things you would expect to find in a place that prides itself on great cocktails. It certainly set the mood and got us ready to have an experience.

The mixologists were welcoming and informative. I enjoyed my first drink, which was suggested based on my personal preferences in taste. It was a spin off a classic, and I really enjoyed it. Sort of like a cross of a penicillin and a whiskey sour. [The Never Ending Story]. My friend had the clarified punch since we had similar things we've loved in the past. It was slightly sweet, smooth, and easy to sip. We decided to just get some classics since the cocktail menu felt more like just off shots of other classics we love. They were both excluded well!

But the thing that really blew us away was the food! I was really pleased with this portion of our evening! We had the crispy Brussels sprouts, and they were the best BSs I've ever had! I thought we'd take some home, but that did not happen! My friend got the Mushroom Casarecce. It was creamy and delicious! The beef carpaccio was also really nice.
