“Don't eat at the one in Fayetteville. The location used to be Fabe's and that was great. The locations for Alpaca in Sanford and Raleigh are great, too, but I got food from the one in Fayetteville the other day and was so disappointed. The chicken was not nearly as flavorful as it should have been and the green sauce was like that as well. It was just sad. I suppose I should have guessed based on the two staff members running the counter. They looked and acted like they wanted to be anywhere else.”

“We were in Mebane visiting family and found this place through a Google search. How lucky for us! My husband (who is something of a pizza snob) said the pizza was great, my pasta was amazing, the strawberry cheesecake was worth the trip by itself. Our server, Sebastian, was super attentive, helpful and friendly. Another staff member stopped by our table and offered help, didn't catch his name, but he also super nice. VERY reasonably priced. Highly recommend!”

“Nice little local diner. I'm not rating this on a haute cuisine scale, but on the American breakfast diner scale. The food was decent, honest American breakfast food (Southwest omelette). Attentive staff and not understaffed like a lot of places these days. Nice casual breakfast.

“The food here was really good. It's hard to get good barbecue this way that's seasoned and seasoned correctly and everything I had here was delicious, all while being randomly located in a bowling alley! Their smoked wings were really good as well and they have reasonable prices.”

“First time in. I have food allergies so eating out can be challenging. Johnny came out of the kitchen to address my concerns. The food was was delicious ( fries are absolutely exceptional!) and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. It was a fabulous experience. We’ll be back. “Stopped in for a couple of drinks and appetizers. What a wonderful decision. 212 has been recommended by fiends, but this was our 1st trip. The drinks were great! However, the heroes were the appetizers. We had the deviled eggs, ahi tuna and Deep South egg rolls with collards, ham and chicken. We will definitely be back for a ‘meal’. Our server was also bartending and did a fantastic job. Great experience!”

“Tried the Nashville hot chicken biscuit. Keep in mind they put some kind of mayo based sauce on the biscuit as well. Didn't get the loaded on with the egg, but the heat was there. Sanitation score was on point with the 99.5 rating. Glad I tried it, but want thrilled with the biscuit for the price.”

“Pretty darn good pizza. I ordered by the slice. Both were tasty and the ratios were great! It was $11 for two slices and they gave me a drink I didn't order. Kinda pricey, but the whole pizzas look to be better priced. One thing I don't like is the trend to place pepperoni pizza on top of a cheese pizza that was already baked. I shouldn't let out my rage on this place specifically. But, why is that a trend? Overall, great spot. Alamance county has some good pizza joints.”

“Their gluten-free Pad Thai was incredible! 🤩 I definitely recommend it! Also, I requested for the dish to be extra hot and spicy. They gave me a side of chili oil and that was like the cherry on top!! LOVED it!”

“I like the Smithfield Chicken & Barbecue restaurants but this one really tops the list of the ones I've visited. The establishment is really clean, the staff insures that it is. The service here is top notch. It gives the feel of a much more expensive fine dining type of service. Karena plays a large part in bringing repeat customers to this location. “Best selection in Mebane. The owners take pride in creating a comfortable and safe place with a wide variety of beers, whiskey, hemp drinks, and more. Darts and karaoke occur weekly. LGBTQ+ friendly. Hands down the best old fashioned in town. I've been a patron since day 1 and through all of the years of shifting and changing, it's always been a wonderful vibe thanks to the wonderful owner!”

“Went in and asked for a center and they were out. Another clerk overheard and said they can be made from a whole cinnamon roll. What impressed me even more is the clerk being told this immediately asked to be shown for next time. What a pleasant rarity someone caring about their job and great customer service!!!! This was on Christmas Day (2024).”

“Stopped for a quick bite after a meeting. Ate at the bar and Margaret was our server. She was fantastic. They were short staffed that day and she managed to take care of the bar and the food orders by running as fast as she could. The food was quite good.”

“This was our first time trying Cook Out and we were not disappointed. The person who took our order was patient and kind. The waiting time for our food was really short. We ordered 3 Cookout burgers with cheese, a banana pudding shake, onion rings, fries with cajun seasoning, fried okra, nuggets, a regular burger, a corn dog. Everything we ordered was really good and the price was in a good range. (Even my dad approved, which is really rare)

Vegetarian options: There are options on the menu that do not have any kind of meat like the fries, onion rings but it doesn’t clearly specify that it’s vegetarian.”
