“My fiancee and I were in there this evening after getting caught in a torrential downpour on the motorcycle . We were literally dripping all over the floor in the store, and the girls working in there were so nice and considerate of us being in there like that. They never complained about it or acted upset. The girl behind the counter fixed our meals and then mopped up our wet floors , never complaining. I did offer to mop it up, and she said no, ma'am, I have to mop every evening anyway, so it's totally fine. Thank you, ladies, for treating two drowned rats so considerate . It was greatly appreciated..”

“Harold’s Restaurant is, In my opinion the best place to eat this side of east coast , especially the Footlong Hotdogs and the wonderful local home-cooked and home made dishes that are served up fresh and delicious each day. Examples daily menu are such as meatloafs and stew and good hearty chicken meals man just makes me hungry for something now !! So I know what’s for supper tomorrow evening!!”

“I ordered from the North wilkesboro location. I had a call in order, my order was ready when I arrived. The cashier was super friendly. I ordered a 10" Cauliflower gluten free pizza with BBQ sauce, extra pineapples and Jalepenos. When I tell you it is probably one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. I couldn't just stop at 1 or 2 slices. The crust was crunchy and the cheese was browned just perfectly. The best combination I could have ordered.”

“I am a longtime customer of Hadley’s. I have been eating there for over 40 years. After the restaurant was sold and closed for a period of time, I really missed the food there. When it reopened, I initially did not return but in the last few months, I have returned found the food is great, much as it always was. They have three waitresses who are awesome. These ladies work together and when food comes out either one of these ladies will get your food and bring it to you. They know how to work together. They often have to bus tables and even have to wash dishes because Hadley’s seems to have trouble keeping a dishwasher. But they do an awesome job waiting tables. The food is still very good with chicken and dumplings my favorite. Chicken tenders, pintos, slaw, country style steak are all very good. Hot dogs and hamburgers are great and fries are hot and crisp. Great cornbread too. I visit at least once a week and the food is great and service is consistently great.”
