“We moved to the Miller's Creek area about two years ago, but had previously driven past the igloo several times. While renovating our house it was a staple meal. I'm a hot dog fan and really like their dogs and their crinkle fries are always piping hot and crispy!

YES it is cash only
YES it is no frills
YES it can take awhile to get your food. Get some soft serve and wait your turn.

“My fiancee and I were in there this evening after getting caught in a torrential downpour on the motorcycle . We were literally dripping all over the floor in the store, and the girls working in there were so nice and considerate of us being in there like that. They never complained about it or acted upset. The girl behind the counter fixed our meals and then mopped up our wet floors , never complaining. I did offer to mop it up, and she said no, ma'am, I have to mop every evening anyway, so it's totally fine. Thank you, ladies, for treating two drowned rats so considerate . It was greatly appreciated..“

“Im very happy with the customer service today. I didnt think anything about the hours being different because of new years. Did a moble order and when I got there i saw they was closing. I call and talk to a member she was very nice and she let me know where it was a small order she would push it through and bring me the order to my car. I'm very happy that they did this. “I eat here almost every morning. I absolutely love everything I've tried!! I can not think of one bad thing. Besides they are always busy because it's so great!!!! Lol ? I love the cashier and how all the staff is friendly and ready to work. When people work hard it makes the place so much better they have team work like I've never seen before maybe if McDonald's did they would do better. “My sandwich 🥪 was extremely good, however, it was cold. Cheese wasn't melted, nothing. Bacon was limp. But after I got it home and put it in the air fryer, Omgosh... it was fabulous. I think they should give you the option of a hot or a cold sandwich.“

“First time on Main Street in Wilkesboro. Cute, former gas station, turned ice cream & milkshake place. Best MILKSHAKE ever! One of her signature flavors! Came with cookies, sprinkles and the whole works. Love the name! Worth a stop for sure“

“Christmas evening and all through the place cars were parked taking up space... food was moving but not very fast. Thankfully, we got a server that had us out in a flash! Amaya was her name and amazing service she provided... even with my picky family being so undecided. With our order placed, a long wait we feared! But miss Amaya soon was there, full of Christmas cheer! With a smile she greeted us the best server indeed, we were so happy to have miss Amaya on this rainy Christmas eve!No seriously give this girl a raise... she's young, working on christmas day and still greeted us with a genuine "Merry Christmas " after dealing with a packed house and our long and complicated order with a few " oh I'm sorry, can I change thats? " plus we had to order a shake while she was giving us our order and she ran right in no attitude and brought it out fast! This kind of service is so appreciated and we need more Amayas like the one working at Sonic on 421 in Wilkesboro, NCMerry Christmas! And God bless“

“These are some lying thieving sorry people. The prices listed on the menu are lower than what they wipl actually charge you. False advertising and cold undercooked food as well. When you question the price difference they blame corporate for an automated pricing yet that doesn't explain why they don't update their menu. I have pics to prove what I'm saying and as little as the difference may be they are still lying and ripping people off. They do nothing but rip you off, serve you bad food and pass the blame. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.“

“Just wanted to take a moment to appreciate how kind the staff are at this subway. The older woman working was so pleasant and kind! When I mentioned I wanted to try to parmesan vinaigrette, but only a little in case I wasn't a fan, she decided to put some in a little container for me to try instead. She said she didn't want to ruin my sandwich in case I didn't like it! (Turns out I did really like it lol). “The potatos in the potato bowls and burritos are always hard as a rock. Stop dropping huge batches and then selling them to customers. I don’t want to break a tooth when I try my first bite. Otherwise, I will make Taco Bell pay for my damn dental repair.“

“OMG!!!! Hunnie when I tell you guy's me my mom and dad went there yesterday passing threw going home from our vacation from the mountains we stopped 🛑 there to get a bite to eat. The workers was so amazing! and nice I love good customer service and the place was so clean! our food was spectacular! I'm like this is the best subway I ever been to in my life they need to give the workers a nice raise because they did that hands down I can't remember there names when I bit in to my sub I wanted to cry 😂 because everything was so delish! Very satisfied🙂 I feel like I want to drive 4 hrs there that's how awesome it was I know it sounds crazy but I love subway I use to work at one and they make a sub the way I make mines with love they truly a Sub Artist.“

Theres been a few different employees whom have made that happen however, theres one very beautiful lady who is professional to a T. “While traveling from Charlotte to my vacation mountain house in west jefferson, I stopped in today and used the kfc app to place a pickup order. My 8 piece bucket meal was ready within 5 to 6 minutes. The restaurant was immaculately clean when I entered and the staff was amazing. The staff greeted me when I entered and were so friendly with beautiful smiles. One staff double checked my order before giving it to me and thanked me and said she hoped I enjoyed it! Coming from Charlotte nc, you never get service like this. I hope the staff receive some recognition for their excellent customer service“

“We took a couple of our boys today (10/20) for lunch. The place was so clean, the ladies who waited on us were professional and friendly, and we were checked on a couple of times to make sure we didn’t need anything else. It is the best Burger King I’ve been to in years. I would definitely recommend.“
