“I've been dining at both restaurants for years and enjoyed myself ,the food , and the staff! The food and sides at Morehead have a better flavor, taste better ,and the portions are much bigger. I ve notice that recently on my last couple times that the sides are much better at both restaurants. The mash potatoes in Morehead are so delicious. I wish that was the same case at the emerald isle restaurant. The Cole slaw is the best that I have taste recently. I swear if the food was as good as the sides have been lately I wouldn't eat anywhere else. SNAPPPERZ KEEP IT UP!“

“I have Blue Moon Bistro as one of the better restaurants in Beaufort/morehead area...we have been there several times...I think they have cut back on the cocktails though...I just had the $16 fig infused old fashion and the drink barely covered the square ice cube...2 sips and it was over. I didn't bother with a second and usually I do🤔 that has not been an issue before, so I can only assume the 2 oz of Old Forester 1870 is now only one oz...this is the first time I was disappointed in the cocktails...the dinner was excellent but the cocktail pour was not.....maybe the goal was for one to pay $32 for two of the same.???“

“My husband wanted to try Fried Soft Shell Crab and while we were in Beaufort NC we saw that Blackbeard’s had it on the menu. He ordered the build your own combo with the shrimp. He thought it was phenomenal and said the shrimp was the best he has had. I tried a cup of the Chowder and the Bisque. Both were really good but the chowder was my favorite. Carol our waitress was amazing, we were asking her about the soft shell crab and she gave us some history on the place. If you are in the area, make sure to eat here, you won’t be disappointed.“

“4.5 stars Came here on Monday for lunch and there was no wait in the restaurant. My dad got the club and I got the squash soup ($8). The soup wasn't quite wasn't what I was expecting as it came in a martini glass (guess I should've gone with the blue corn pancakes). It was very warm temperature-wise and the local honey added some sweetness to it. Since we were celebrating my birthday, they brought out a small chocolate cake with berries. It had a harder outer crust of chocolate and was delicious. The views were great and you could find some reasonably priced items on the menu.“

“This place was busy . Yet we quickly got seated. The menu is varied. We enjoyed everything we tried. From appetizers to a main course, it was awesome. They kept our beverages full and the staff is pleasant. When we visit from Roxboro, this is a place we always visit.“
