“This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Super nice family, they recognize us as soon as we walk in. The menu is priced right, the food is always freshly prepared and this is the one place where I can get liver and onions whenever I have a craving. I absolutely love their horchata as well.“
“I've spent quite a bit of time in Mexico over the years and, while I like many of the local Mexican restaurants, I've yet to find one with the authentic flavors I crave. Until today. Mi Molcajete is a real treat and has a broad menu of authentic and flavorful dishes. We were pleasantly surprised and had great service, incredible food and lots of left overs. “A great spot to stop for some nice Tex-Mex!Place is always rocking with guests!A bit noisy due to the crowds, but very manageable.Portion sizes are huge, service is quick and personable, and despite then restaurant being at capacity, the wait is always minimal.Prices are fair as well!My only gripe is that being given a thimble sized bowl for a salsa bar is ridiculous. When did this behavior get normalized?!?! You can’t even put a chip in the bowl to dip!“

So glad I did! I didn’t catch the first guys name at the front of the line plating the bowl, but if everyone had an attitude like this guy, the world would be a better place! “The best place in Morganton for authentic Guatemalan food. Everything is made from scratch (including the tortillas) and is delicious beyond imagination. After you eat, you can shop their grocery store, home to the highest quality meat and seafood I have found locally. Don't be intimidated if you do not speak Spanish, they will help you order and their staff is bilingual. The menu also has pictures. Plus, you can use your phone and Google anything you need to translate. Mi Pais is an absolute must try and will likely become your new favorite.“

“You best come hungry y'all. I got a mess of them Texas fajitas and they was piled high and wide. Lord I mean meat meat meat and perfectly seasoned. I ate 4 meals out of what they gave me. That there horchata drink was good too what with that dash of cinnamon and ice cold, it balances your taste buds against the spiciness of the food. Magic drink. The steak here is pretty good too. Rice and beans are just right and they do good on the chips and salsa. You won't go thirsty here as the waitress was on the ball with refills and such. They's got outside tables too so plenty of seating for all. If you got lucky younguns there's a pizza joint next door so you could eat outside and git the you've pizza while you're a driving a burrito in you. Reckon if them 2 joints would team up and make a fajita pizza? Reckon that might be good.Kid-friendliness: Yes sir they'd mighty friendly to the younguns here. Seen about 8 to 10 there and theys all friendly towers each other.Parking: 1/2 acre of parking I would reckon.“

“On walking in it's very inviting.. we had a very friendly waiter and the food was delicious.. ordered their special Casabrillias tacos, two carnita tacos and one Pastor taco.. all was wonderful .. don't miss trying everyone of the salsa choices they were ALL remarkably good.. can't wait to go back with hubby!“
