“Very nice place. I went to both the bakery and the ice cream shop. I got a German chocolate pie and a red velvet cake—delicious!\nThe best was the white trash butter pecan moonshine ice cream. Yes, it has moonshine in it, but you can hardly taste it. It was a wonderful treat!“

“We ordered last night for the first time. All I can say is this was absolutely the best food I've gotten in Mt Airy in years. You will definitely have us as repeat customers.“
“Stopped here today and got a bunch of treats for a road trip to Charlotte with my husband. Was so excited to find somewhere with gluten free treats for me. Especially excited about the apple pie. I give the food 5 stars. However the young lady that served me did not seem like she wanted to be at work. Was put out because I asked for gluten free treats, and was put out that we asked for milkshakes and she had to make them. Had a grumpy look on her face and a snippy tone in her voice the entire transaction and made us less than comfortable. I realize it was Mayberry Day (which we were not aware of when we planned our trip) but a little niceness goes a long way. She also slammed my frozen apple pie on the counter and broke the crust. Hopefully this isn’t the norm.“

“Sweet Frog in Mount Airy is a great little spot for a frozen treat. Their frozen yogurt is delicious — smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. What really stands out is the massive selection of toppings. From fresh fruit and candies to cookies, syrups, and more, there’s pretty much something for everyone to pile on.
That said, just be aware that they charge by the weight, so things can get expensive really fast — especially if you get a little carried away at the toppings bar (which is easy to do!). It’s definitely a treat-yourself kind of place, and while the price adds up, the quality makes it worth it.
Pro tip: swing by the ATM or make sure you’ve got your credit card handy, because your sweet tooth might cost a little more than you expect. Still, all in all, it’s a solid spot for a fun and tasty dessert experience.“

“Selection of food is mostly sandwiches. They did have chicken strip plate and hamburger stk plate. they were priced higher than most of the other restaurants in the area. The cheeseburgers were good could have been a little warmer. A kids meal and 2 burger meals was $25. Did not buy any ice cream but it looked good.“
