“Probably one of the best smoothies I’ve had around here! The smoothie was really good, and I also tried what I think was a cookies-and-cream latte or coffee, which was great too. Definitely a place I’d come back to when I’m craving a good drink.“

“My wife and I decided to stop in for our weekly Friday lunch date. We walked in and it was very busy! Customers wait in line to place their orders at the counter. It took just a few minutes which allowed us to look at their menu. My wife decided on the Thai Crunch salad (shredded lettuce, red cabbage, broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, cranberries, pecans, crunchy chow mein noodles and grilled chicken served with oriental dressing and in a fried flour tortilla bowl. She ordered it without mandarin oranges. I chose the Cham sandwich (chicken breast deep fried, ham, provolone cheese served on a hamburger bun with lettuce, tomato and mayo. I ordered mine without the tomato and mayo with a cup of Italian vegetable soup. We then took a seat. The orders are then called by order number, ours took about 10-15 minutes. Everything looked yummy. My wife quickly decided she really liked the salad and said she would definetely order it again. I also thought the soup was yummy but felt the Cham sandwich was just okay. They also have a counter on the far end of the restaurant specifically for their homemade ice cream. We were far too full to try it but will stop in the future! Overall, this was a positive experience and we will be back!“

“I have LOVED Moravian cookies for a long time. I was SO glad to find the 13.5 tin while at Fresh Market in Moore Co. this holiday season. But this time I was disappointed. TOO many of the cookies are just broken. Not just broken! In pieces? Product costs TOO much for the quality to be SO poor! Do better!“

“The ice cream is delicious. The service was fair. The atmosphere was somewhat dirty but not terrible. We always love getting the rolled ice cream. The kids absolutely love watching it is so fun to get to see them. Do it right in front of you“

“A party of four go into Mayberry about 3:10 this afternoon! We waited about 5 minutes to even be seated! No one seemed to know what to do! We had to keep moving as we waited so that a lady could sweep! We ordered just banana splits and 2 ice cream sundaes! They were brought to us in a timely manner and that was it! Never saw the waitress again until I paid! My grandson dropped his spoon, I got up to get him another, no one at the counter! One waitress just walked by me to get out the door! No wait staff to be seen in the restaurant! Everyone was in the kitchen, talking! One lady was standing in the opening and I know that she could see me at the counter, but she chose to ignore me! I was ready to go behind the counter, but couldn’t see any spoons! After 3-4 minutes a lady comes out! We finish and get up to leave, no bill! I go to counter and wait probably 5-7 mins. Cashier has to ring up 2-3 ice creams and some man was trying to get his to-go order and he had been waiting a while! When the cashier finally ask me why I’m there, I tell her to pay my bill! She has no bill, can not find it on the cash register! She asked me twice where we were sitting! While she calls our waitress, she rings it up and I finally paid! Doesn’t give me my change back, I have to tell her what I gave her and how much change she owes me! First time in a long time that we’ve been to Mayberry and probably won’t be going back! Wasn’t very busy this afternoon, lots of employees just standing around/in the kitchen doing nothing!“

“We all know the cookies and the ice cream are amazing. 10 out of 10. The highlight of my visit was the sweet woman working the front counter. Give that woman a raise! She was so darling. Even though there was a long line, she did not make me feel rushed, and she was so kind. I wish I remembered her name!“

“It was okay. For a hot day it was only 3 employees and twice the customers. My daughter asked for a waffle bowl, was given a waffle cone, didnt matter they were not fresh. 4 stars for the ice cream and the 1 employee that was friendlier than the others trying to get the customers served.“
