“There's a very good reason why this restaurant is usually busy at dinner time! The food is excellent, the staff friendly and efficient, and the restaurant clean and well appointed. The birria tacos, as well as the quesotacos absolutely fantastic. Cindy, the bartender, makes great margaritas, and is fun to chat with. I wish I had time to try more of their dishes, everything I saw come out looked amazing. If/when I get out here to Havelock again, this restaurant is definitely on my list to return to!“

“Me and my wife are very picky about our Mexican food, ostentatious even (I come from a family of cooks and worked in many restaurants growing up), we’re both Mexican too, and La Patrona completely surprised us with how good the food was. I won’t bad mouth any local businesses right now, but I will say La Patrona has been the only Mexican restaurant we look forward to eating at in a long time. The ingredients are great quality, everything cooked just right, with outstanding flavors. They know what they’re doing. Absolutely delicious ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. VERY generous portions of delicious and deliberately made drinks and entrees; even the free salsa included with chips at the beginning of your meal was impressive. Friendly staff and festive interior as well.A must-go if you are in the area and even slightly open to the idea of having Mexican food. Hands down the best food I had in my vacation. Its rare that I write such a glowing review but I was honestly shocked at the experience, especially considering lackluster alternative offerings in the area.“

Haha we ordered the large quesadilla with rice & beans & churros for dessert ? the churros do come with ice cream and chocolate dipping sauce ? $16 & me and my fiance split it so about $8 per person and we were absolutely stuffed. “The lady with the teal hair who took my order today was very kind and showed fantastic customer service. The line was a little slow, but it was lunch rush so just expect that. I got a chicken quesadilla and root beer and a cheesy roll up for my son. Everything was warm and perfectly proportioned. I've been to taco bells where they either skimp or put too much and your food spills all over the place. Definitely a well ran taco bell from what I've experienced.“
