“How did we ever survive in on Topsail Island without Maine Lobstah Shack!!! Having spent years in the New England region, I know good from great when it comes to Lobster! The lobster rolls are to die for and the lobster bisk is the best I've ever had. On top of that, it is a wonderful family owned and family run business. At the end of the day, it is the quality of the food that keeps us coming back! Treat yourself!!! Definately a five star experience!!“

“We dined at Shuckin’ Shack with a group of 10, and a puppy in tow. The waiter was absolutely phenomenal and the attentiveness to the puppy by bringing out a water bowl was top tier. This gave my family a last hoorah with Grandma, Uncle and Aunt! Phenomenal food to fit everyone’s appetite, excellent service and efficiency! Outdoor dining was completely covered and peaceful!“

“Just found this place and absolutely loved it. Light and refreshing meal before or after the beach. Service was fast and the people were incredibly nice. The food is great and exactly what I needed after spending time in the beach. Highly recommend!! Loved the outdoor seating and chill music.“

“Sears Landing – A Family Favorite!
Our family visited Sears Landing and had an amazing experience from start to finish! The West Indies seafood omelet did NOT disappoint—it was packed with a generous amount of seafood and seasoned perfectly. Every bite was flavorful, and it quickly became a table favorite.
We also tried the combination plate, and everything was cooked to perfection. My son gave it a solid 10 out of 10, which says a lot! He enjoyed his breakfast of sausage, two eggs, hashbrowns, and toast, and my mother-in-love ordered the same with bacon. Both plates were delicious and well-portioned.
The view was beautiful, and the service was amazing, which made the experience even better. While we ate, my fisherman husband was out on the pier, and we brought him back a bacon sandwich—he was very pleased!

“We ate at Rick's on Saturday evening 8/16 and Sunday evening 8/17! Our steaks on Saturday came out perfectly cooked!! Our steaks on Sunday evening came out very well done! Not even edible! The fish specials that we ordered was also very overcooked and dry! The two of us who ordered the fish didn't feel well the rest of Sunday evening 😕 The atmosphere was nice but it was very loud and it seemed like the air conditioner was not working as it was very warm in there. Our server NICOLE was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! She was very attentive and seemed to really enjoy her job!!“

“This is a hidden Gem. We had the oyster sandwich and flounder sandwich. Both were loaded and delicious. The owner came by to see how we liked our food and told me he has plans for a raw bar and sushi next summer. He also said he planned to open the outside and have bands. If you are looking at this give them a try. A+“
“Spacious outdoor venue — picnic tables with umbrellas. Absolutely the MOST delicious farmed oysters I’ve ever had, served raw or roast your own on one of several grills. Amazing toppings for the oysters. They also serve sausages for grilling and yummy shrimp salad. Lots if other unexpected seafood options. Great beer selection. What a treat to have the very freshest local oysters anytime of year! We LOVE this place and the terrific employees!! A+++.“

“My husband and son and I went Saturday for dinner and as always, it was delicious. The crab dip always spot on and the best around. A special Thank You to Tanner our server, he was awesome and did such a wonderful job and made sure everything was spot on for us to have a relaxing and enjoyable dinner. Tanner you were awesome and your personality and how you deal with your customers was great, please keep that up. My heart went out to you and I felt bad after the table next to us ran you and spent $200 if not more and left you such a crap tip, that was so wrong. But don't let people like that discourage you, keep doing you, because you were great!!!“

“Last Monday Music BINGO night was our first time here. Marty the bingo host is fantastic! View is amazing! Our waitress was spot on the whole night!!!!! Our food.... husband had coconut shrimp YUM! I had the crab shrimp dip....new cook in kitchen put way too much old Bay on my pita chips ..when I mentioned it...waitress replaced them all no questions asked. Customer service was great. Peak tourist season it can be extremely busy extra patience is needed. Talking from years of food service myself and my husband.“

“Great food and even better service. We loved the vibe so we didnt mind that the AC was broken inside but felt bad for the poor staff who were drenched in sweat but still managed to take such great care of us esp our bartender Frannie as sweat literally dropped off her. We loved it and highly recommend but to the owner do better, fix your AC to take care of your staff!!“
