“Was just there for one night and was first time there. The hotel was clean and staff friendly. The beach is just beautiful and with every room having an ocean view was a major plus!! Saw dolphins while sitting on our balcony, along with pelicans. Was a great night at the beach. Only complaint we had was the people above our room were smoking on their balcony which the smoke and smell came into the room while having our door open to enjoy the waves. Also, wish the bathroom and shower were bigger but they served their purpose! I cannot wait to come back and take the ferry out to the lighthouse and enjoy a longer stay once the Tiki Bar and restaurant are open! Another plus of the hotel was they had beach chairs at no charge for us to use. Very nice amenity.“

“Best kept secret in Morehead City! From placing the reservation with the host who was phenomenal on the phone and in selecting our table to our server Philip who was absolutely perfect and recommended the best options! Ginger Mojito is the way to go! And you can’t leave without the shrimp and grits and pimento!!! Yummmm! We will def be back!“

“Highly recommend! We went on a Friday at about 5:00pm and had only 2 people in front of us to order. We had a crab cake sandwich and a crab cake wrap with fried pickles and hush puppies and everything was amazing. The lemon dill sauce is the bomb! We got our food about 5 minutes after ordering and by that time there were close to 20 people in line to order. They have a great system and moved people through really quickly. They also have the option (Hero Meal) to pay in advance for a meal for a first responder. If you’re able, consider adding that to your order. Finding parking was a little challenging but that seemed to be the case with a lot of places in AB. There was also very limited seating which is first come, first served. So maybe a good idea to stake out a seat when you get there and have someone else in your party go order.“

“Got takeout last night from Luigi's and was more than happy with our order. Pizza was delicious with plentiful fresh toppings and tender crust, and Philly cheesesteak was packed with tender beef, peppers and cheese on a soft hoagie. Sooo good! But don't fall asleep on those cannolis. Crunchy shell with a not-too-sweet filling was the finishing touch to our meal. One employee was taking our order while the other employees repeated our order back to him as they were cranking out other customers pies. Was worth the short wait for stellar food. Glad we found this gem!“

“I've been dining at both restaurants for years and enjoyed myself ,the food , and the staff! The food and sides at Morehead have a better flavor, taste better ,and the portions are much bigger. I ve notice that recently on my last couple times that the sides are much better at both restaurants. The mash potatoes in Morehead are so delicious. I wish that was the same case at the emerald isle restaurant. The Cole slaw is the best that I have taste recently. I swear if the food was as good as the sides have been lately I wouldn't eat anywhere else. SNAPPPERZ KEEP IT UP!“
