“Inside Alley 51, honey buns 2 offer dumplings, and steam buns. I was able to quickly place my order and then I was given a buzzer to use while waiting. I only ended up having t\to wait for around 3-4 minutes. I had the number 10-pork and shrimp dim sum. For $4.50, you get 5 pieces. I found them to have good flavor and they were juicy. The steam buns were teriyaki and bbq. I liked the texture of the bun and the sweetness of the meat. I do wish there was a bit more filling to bun ratio. The food was great and I will definitely come back and try more that they have to offer.“

“One of my favorite sushi restaurants in Charlotte located off East Boulevard in Dilworth. The location is fun, surrounded by retail and within walking distance to other restaurants. This part of Dilworth is being rejuvenated, I assume to capitalize on the upcoming opening, South & Hollis.

“First tried dining here for a date night, we really loved it so we went back for a family brunch and our little girl absolutely loved it! Our server Andrew was awesome too! From appetizer rangoons, to our yuzu sodas, the entrees (dang! that char siu is the best), and the dessert... customizing our bubble waffles was definitely the highlight!☺“

“This was the best meal I have had in a while! My banh mi was absolutely delicious—it was tender, crunchy, so flavorful and the bread was the perfect chewy, crispy baguette. “My adult son loves Akahana. We ordered sushi rolls because they are always Bogo. They were good and plenty. The fish in and in the rolls tasted fresh. We lived in Tokyo for a year and have authentic sushi to compare. Oishi desu!!! The spicy, not hot, just flavorful edamame were outstanding. Felt like a well-worn diner, but don't put your chopsticks away on that count! We will go again.“

“I’ve ordered from DoorDash a few times, but today I decided to dine in. This was some of the best special fried rice I’ve had in a long time. I asked if they could make the rice darker, and they added soy sauce—it turned out fantastic. The chicken wings were perfectly crispy without being overcooked. While there were only seven people dining in and I ate out of a starfoam plate, it was clear they have a strong takeout business. I recommend ordering on-site and asking for the fried rice extra dark if you’re craving something reminiscent of classic New York-style fried rice and wings.

Side note a robot brings your food so kids are so amazed!

“Small primarily take out spot. I came close to closing so I will give a pass on the rice. I had the shrimp fried rice with six chicken wings. (They are cut so really 3 wings.) They are big and flavorful. My fried rice was hard not fully cooked to me. I had to spruce it up when I got home. I really don’t like the way they barely cooked the shrimp. I will try again and ask to cook shrimp longer.“
