“I gave it a 4 over all because my daughter ordered a pizza off the kids menu and they didn't have any pizza on a Tuesday during the lunch hour. This is fall break for most schools. But in all the food we all ordered was great and service was also ok.“

The only disappointment is how full you get off the dishes that you can’t get dessert. The price is more than reasonable for the amount of food you get. This place is top tier. “We went for a special occasion and they had a signed birthday card ready for us, which was very sweet. We got the grilled romaine salad with the calamari, which was delicious! The focaccia bread was so good. I got the rigatoni and I wish I could’ve eaten the whole thing but I was full. My husband got a cheese pizza and he loved it. We were very pleased with the service the atmosphere and the food.“

“Food was amazing. There was an obnoxious party seated next to us that really took away from the experience, that's not on the restaurant though. We did share a waiter with that party, and they took up most his time, so we felt like we weren't getting great service and felt very rushed. But the food was incredible.“

“Madeline E, my server, was awesome. Service and staff at this location, including 2 managers who stopped by the table to check in on my meal, is better than other locations in Charlotte. They were wall to wall busy at 4pm on a Saturday, including a group birthday party of 20 and a party of 12, but service was still on point. The kitchen was a little slower because of the big parties but still faster than other locations in town. I would put this as one of the top 3 Olive Garden visits I've had since Covid.“

“North Italia might just have my favorite pasta in Charlotte. The Chicken Pesto Trottole is delicious. The Strozzapreti is a close second. The dine-in experience is fantastic. The service is good, as you would expect, and the atmosphere is great. The only reason I didn't put five stars is the last (2) times I've ordered to-go food, the estimated time was grossly underquoted. Both times I sat around for longer than expected. BUT, the host staff was very polite; I understand they don't control the speed of the kitchen. But the food is so good that it won't change that fact that I'll be back.“

“Hey Amber & Andrew, just a guess, but were the two of you together at Aria and waited on by Jennifer? Seems like it! I have never had a bad experience at Aria. I went this past Saturday for The Queens Feast and once again I was not disappointed with service or the food. Did you talk to a manager while you were there about your issues? It takes a lot of humanity and courage to address issues in person & in real time. When you do, often a resolution can be found. Try it out the next time your disappointed. I understand reviewing a place for poor service, food, etc., but attacking a person by name is low class. Btw, who uses begrudgingly to write a review? Nice word but, seriously?“

“A mystery. Outstanding ambiance, looks and feels like nice casual cafes we ate at in Milan and Tuscany. Once inside can't believe it's in an outdoor mall in NC. Friendly service. Chicken marsala with mushrooms as good as it gets. Hearts of palm salad not on many menus but was delightful. The customers seemed to be enjoying a relaxed, quality dining experience without the pretense of a fancy place or buzz of a large busy place. The mystery-why was it only half full on a Friday night?“

“My husband and I attended a cooking class at Desarno’s tonight and had a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was welcoming, and Kit & Karen are both knowledgeable and engaging. We made delicious, authentic Italian dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Guido Lombardi, owner of Impero Wine Distributors, was also present, suggesting and sharing wines that perfectly complemented the dishes we prepared. It added a wonderful touch to the evening. The market itself has an amazing selection of take and bake options, perfect for a gourmet meal at home. Whether you're looking to improve your cooking skills or just enjoy a fun evening, I highly recommend their classes. We’ll definitely be returning for more!“

“Service was great. Didn't have to wait on a table. I do believe there is normally a wait on the weekends. Atmosphere is quite nice. I had spaghetti and meatballs. It was good. My preference would be more seasoning and I'd like to be able to taste more onion, garlic, and maybe slight peppery taste in the sauce. As stated though, it was still good. Unlimited breadsticks, and my wife enjoyed her wine selection which was a Sangria.“

“Great food, great service, but if you’re a larger party and are seated in the enclosed patio area, take heed that it will be extremely uncomfortable with the summer heat. They only have a couple of small portable fans that are absolutely inadequate for the total space, and the ceiling fans (supposedly set to the incorrect direction) didn’t help much. Even the dining room wasn’t much better. I know it’s been hot, but if the customer is uncomfortable I can only imagine the staff.“

“I recently visited Mario’s Pizza, and I was impressed! The atmosphere was inviting and the restaurant was very clean. The staff provided excellent service (Alyssa) making sure our meal was enjoyable from start to finish.

The food was delicious. We tried a veggie pizza topped with a generous amount of fresh vegetables, including olives, green peppers, and red onions. The crust was crisp, and the flavors were well balanced. We also ordered a tortellini dish with broccoli, which was tasty as well as a classic ziti with marinara sauce that was rich and comforting.

Parking was easy to find, and overall, the experience was fantastic. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving quality pizza and Italian dishes!“

“I posted before that we would not eat in here because of a waitress named Lana. She couldn't keep her hands off my husband. With that being said. We went to place a order to go tonight. We noticed no Lana. (Made my day). Our waitress was Donna which is the sister of our favorite bartender, Marsha. Who no longer works there. Bad bad loss for them. Donna did an amazing job. The young guy behind the bar did a so so job.“

“We’ve been picking up from Sal’s several times the past couple of months. We drive around 20-25 minutes. The Stromboli and selection of pizzas are worth it. We lived in Philadelphia and had lots of great pizza places there…this is as close to great northern pizza around the area and we’ve been here 32 years.“
