“I placed an order online and wanted to add extra things to my order and was not able to do that. I called the restaurant and spoke with a manager by the name of Alex and the experience I had was very successful, he took my order into consideration and applied everything I wanted to add with no additional charges. The staff has great customer service and always makes a way to take care your ordering needs with a positive attitude. When a restaurant excels in both food and service, it creates a dining experience that people want to return to and recommend to others. I would recommend this place to everyone that wants to try different foods with positive results.“

“We experienced Dean’s Italian Steakhouse in Charlotte in 2023. I was with my parents on a work trip of my dad’s. We were worried as we didn’t have fancy clothes with us but they made no issue of it and treated us like anyone else. Exceptional service and food. I’m writing a review today as one, I sadly had forgotten the name of this restaurant but just did a reverse image search of the dinner rolls and found it. Two, my fiancé had just taken me to a Gordon Ramsey restaurant in Kansas City the other day expecting the same amazing food if not better as hello, it’s Gordon Ramsey (we watch all of his shows) but sadly it very much disappointed. To the point I was almost in tears as I was so excited to finally try a Gordon Ramsey restaurant and have my fiancé experience top notch food and we both didn’t care for most of it, especially with how much our bill was. Now I wish so much there was a Dean’s close to us like in Kansas City so I could bring him to try actual amazing food in such a beautiful environment. I will always recommend Dean’s Italian Steakhouse and say how much better it was for us than Gordon Ramsey.“

My wife and I ordered the tomato bruschetta for a starter. One of the best bruschetta's I've every enjoyed. The plate is served with four large pieces and given the size I think it may be a bit much for two as a starter but that didn't stop us. For entrees I enjoyed the gnocchi and my wife ordered pappardelle with mushrooms and cream sauce. My gnocchi was good but my wife's pappardelle was excellent. The meatiness of the mushrooms and the pappardelle noodles were filling and the cream cause was very flavorful. My gnocchi was equally as flavorful with a pesto sauce but I enjoyed the meatiness of the mushrooms in my wife's dish much more.

The two disappointments were the tiramisu we ordered for desert and the price. My wife read where someone quoted that the restaurant claims this to be authentic and a recipe straight out of Italy. What we ordered was not (and I've been to Italy and eaten my fair share of tiramisu). Ours came out with a less than desirable presentation. The bottom have was a soggy mess. I feel like this was the last piece in a mass produced tray that was about to be thrown out. Given the price of the dish, and the rest of the food, this dish was unacceptable.

Lastly, the prices overall were a tad bit high. Given the area the restaurant is located, I get it. We ordered an app, two wines each, two entrees (both vegetarian) and the tiramisu and we were in for $180, a bit steep for Italian.“

“Hey Amber & Andrew, just a guess, but were the two of you together at Aria and waited on by Jennifer? Seems like it! I have never had a bad experience at Aria. I went this past Saturday for The Queens Feast and once again I was not disappointed with service or the food. Did you talk to a manager while you were there about your issues? It takes a lot of humanity and courage to address issues in person & in real time. When you do, often a resolution can be found. Try it out the next time your disappointed. I understand reviewing a place for poor service, food, etc., but attacking a person by name is low class. Btw, who uses begrudgingly to write a review? Nice word but, seriously?“

“A mystery. Outstanding ambiance, looks and feels like nice casual cafes we ate at in Milan and Tuscany. Once inside can't believe it's in an outdoor mall in NC. Friendly service. Chicken marsala with mushrooms as good as it gets. Hearts of palm salad not on many menus but was delightful. The customers seemed to be enjoying a relaxed, quality dining experience without the pretense of a fancy place or buzz of a large busy place. The mystery-why was it only half full on a Friday night?“

“I recently visited Mario’s Pizza, and I was impressed! The atmosphere was inviting and the restaurant was very clean. The staff provided excellent service (Alyssa) making sure our meal was enjoyable from start to finish.

The food was delicious. We tried a veggie pizza topped with a generous amount of fresh vegetables, including olives, green peppers, and red onions. The crust was crisp, and the flavors were well balanced. We also ordered a tortellini dish with broccoli, which was tasty as well as a classic ziti with marinara sauce that was rich and comforting.

Parking was easy to find, and overall, the experience was fantastic. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving quality pizza and Italian dishes!“
