“I live right around the corner, and this has quickly become one of my favorite places in Charlotte. I can’t say enough about the staff! Jesse, Ryan, Abby, and the entire team, as well as the owner, Eloy. They have created a place that feels genuinely welcoming every single time I walk through the door.

There is something very special about the atmosphere here. It is warm, sophisticated, and beautifully executed without ever feeling pretentious despite getting Michelin recognition. The lighting, music, and overall design are exceptional, and the bar is easily one of my favorites in Charlotte. It’s just so well done.

Rada also makes, hands down, the best martinis in the city. I’m not sure what comes in second. Every dish I’ve had has been thoughtful, layered, and so well done, with a level of creativity and attention to detail that really stands out.

More than anything, this is the kind of restaurant that makes you want to keep coming back. It feels polished and elevated, but still personal and comfortable. Almost like coming home. We had Cole as our server and regardless of how busy it was that night, he made us feel like we were his only priority. He was very knowledgeable about your massive spirit selections and I mean massive! The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. We got the Really Good Burger and let me tell you, we said medium and it was on point! It was very well seasoned which is rare when you go out to restaurants. Then to top off the night, my daughter got the beignets with the cold brew icing, WOW! I am a sweets person and these with that icing just WOW! Cole even put a candle on the rim of the dish because it was her birthday! So, you have our business any time we are in Charlotte! I just can’t say enough about our experience!!! You have a great place, amazing food, a wonderful spirits collection, and definitely not last or least a fantastic server in Cole!! “Definitely a special occasion spot. Their wine collection is exceptional, which is to be expected. I initially ordered a Bordeaux that I did not care for and we were able to order another bottle with no issues. My only complaint is we asked to keep the price comparable and they sent a $20 more expensive bottle. I ordered the filet and it was cooked perfectly. We were there for a birthday and they sent a complimentary champagne flute for all 9 of us in our party. Amazing. I like the interior of this location more than the others. But no exterior compares to the Dilworth location.“

The MOST impressive was Tommy and his extensive knowledge in wines and sparkling wines.. he took our table on an incredible journey pairing delicious wines and trivia with the exquisite dishes that Will and the boys prepared. I personally had the bison bolognese with handmade pasta and he brought an insanely awesome Cab out to pair it with- Dude was cruising around casually in a t-shirt absolutely OWNING his craft. Not only was my pállete entertained but we also learned a shit-ton about the wine and its origins. For the first time in 10+ years I didn’t feel like I was caught up in a get-in/get-out high dollar dining scheme- rather, it was an amazing immersive experience. If I thought I could pay double just to experience last night over again I would make multiple reservations to do so. The current menu and staff as well as management is absolutely crushing and impressing. I don’t see how this place doesn’t have a solid 5 star rating. Keep it up please! I will be back very soon.“

“Absolutely. That actually makes the review much stronger because you’re not basing this on one standout night. You’ve experienced Dot Dot Dot repeatedly, across three different menus, and the consistency is what makes the Michelin-level statement credible. I’d build that directly into the review:

There are great bars, there are great restaurants, and then there are places that create an experience. Dot Dot Dot is absolutely one of those places.

Tucked away in Charlotte, Dot Dot Dot is a true speakeasy experience. A $10 annual membership gets you and up to three guests access to a two-hour seating, and from the moment you walk through the door, you know you’ve found something special.

I’m typically pretty quick to leave a review after visiting a restaurant, but with Dot Dot Dot, I kept holding off for one simple reason: they kept making me want to come back for more.

Over the past five months, I’ve visited several times and experienced three completely different menus: their spring menu, tiki menu, and now their newest menu. At this point, I’ve tried most of the food menu, along with plenty of their cocktails and desserts. That gives me the confidence to say this: I have never had a bad drink, a bad meal, or a bad dessert here. Not once.

That kind of consistency is incredibly hard to find.

The cocktail program alone is worth the visit. The libations are creative, unique, beautifully presented, and clearly made with intention. Each new menu gives you another reason to come back and experience something completely different. They also put genuine thought into their zero-proof offerings, making them feel like crafted cocktails rather than an afterthought.

Then there’s the food. I’ve worked my way through most of the menu, from small plates to larger dishes, and the kitchen consistently delivers. It’s not a place where you find the one or two things they do well and stick with them. You can explore the menu. Take the recommendation. Order something you normally wouldn’t. I have, and somehow they continue to deliver every single time.

And yes, save room for dessert.

But as exceptional as the food and drinks are, what truly puts Dot Dot Dot into another category is the service.

Hands down, some of the best hospitality I have ever experienced. The team treats you like family. They ask the right questions, learn what you like, make thoughtful recommendations, and remember the little things. There is a genuine warmth to the service that can’t be taught from a script. You feel welcomed, taken care of, and appreciated every time you walk through the door.

After several visits, three different menus, and more dishes and drinks than I can probably count, Dot Dot Dot hasn’t given me a reason to lower my expectations. They’ve raised them.

Charlotte has an incredible food and beverage scene, but Dot Dot Dot stands in a category of its own. The atmosphere, creativity, execution, consistency, and hospitality all come together in a way that very few places accomplish.

This is, without question, one of the best places to eat and drink in Charlotte.

And if Michelin is looking at Charlotte for establishments that deliver an experience worth seeking out, Dot Dot Dot deserves to be in that conversation.

Five months. Three menus. Several visits. Not one bad drink, meal, or dessert.

“If you have not been to Southern Tier Brewing yet you really should check it out. The seating situation alone is great. You can sit outside, inside, or in this cool in between space where they open up these big doors. They even have a little fenced in dog area which is awesome if you are bringing your pup.
They have a rotating menu and rotating drinks which keeps it fun. And even though it is a brewery they have beer, wine, cocktails, ciders, all of it. I have tried the spirit flight, cocktails, ciders, and honestly have not had a single bad thing yet food or drink wise.
The staff is always friendly and always ready to give you recommendations so ask them, they know their stuff. It can get busy and a little loud at times but even then the service stays great. Overall just good vibes every time I go. Highly recommend.“
