“Dinner at The Cowfish is always a win. We’ve visited the Orlando location dozens of times, but tonight bisited the Charlotte location since we were in town. Faith, our server, recommended the Togarashi shrimp, and it was phenomenal. Mel, the manager, came out and spoke to us about our visits to Orlando, made some more recommendations, and made sure we were well set for the evening. We had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and Texas chili cheeseburger, both were absolutely excellent. The Cowfish is a must stop in Charlotte or Orlando!“

“A Solid Spot with Room for Improvement
I discovered Konnichiwa Japanese Restaurant online while searching for ramen and decided to give it a try since it consistently popped up in my search. While the restaurant does have ramen on the menu, I was a bit disappointed to find there’s only one ramen dish available, as this was the main reason for my visit. With that said, I decided to explore other options on the menu.
The calamari was fantastic and cooked perfectly. Staying true to my tradition, I ordered a lychee martini, but unfortunately, it tasted mostly like sour mix and could use some improvement. On a brighter note, the house ginger salad was delicious, and the snapper bento box I ordered was flavorful and satisfying. To top off dinner I ordered Fried Ice Cream. The flavors were there but the outer coating could have been fried a little longer to achieve the crispy exterior I was expecting.
Throughout my visit, the restaurant was bustling with patrons, and I noticed a lot of people ordering sushi, which seems to be a standout here. The sushi menu is quite extensive, and I’d consider coming back to give it a try.
Overall, Konnichiwa is a decent spot with great options outside of ramen. If you’re a sushi lover or looking for a variety of Japanese dishes, it’s worth checking out. Just don’t go in expecting a robust ramen menu.“

“Me and my significant other have been regular customers of this establishment for a little over a year now. It is quite possibly my favorite place to get some good sushi and Asian cuisine in the entirety of Mecklenberg county. The people that work at and own the place are top notch and have some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen. If you want good food and know it was made by good people, eat here asap. I can’t recommend this place enough!“

“Went here for dinner with my husband, cool vibes and good sushi! Got the spicy tuna roll, the Southend Roll, a Kani Salad and the Super Rainbow Roll. It was really great fish to rice ratio for the rolls and the Southend Roll was very delicious! Tried one of their November special cocktails called the Campfire Mule- with Makers Mark, Lemon, and Maple Syrup topped with a toasted square marshmallow which was good! Nice place to grab good sushi!
Parking: There is a paid parking lot/paid parking spots across the street from Sushi Hana. There is also a sidewalk sign outside of the restaurant where they show you where you can park for free also!

“Owner & his neice were super nice folks! Food was hot & fresh. I wasn't a fan of their yum yum sauce but that's just me. Dishes were a bit expensive. For 2 adults dining in on a Saturday afternoon our bill was $71.35. 2 entrees & 2 soft drinks. So be prepared. Overall we enjoyed our dishes.“

“Dinner with the fam! Love going to Yama when in the mood for sushi. My go to is the rainbow roll and Salmon nigiri. Also had the yellow tail nigiri (second favorite). Tried one of the specials, Salmon belly, but I'm still not sure how I feel about it. We were told it was smoked, but it came out cooked. So a bit misleading. Definitely prefer my salm raw. Tried their Lychee martini, and that was delish!“

“A beautiful restaurant with amazing service. We got the chef’s nigiri platter along with some appetizers such as potstickers. The basic salmon roll was delicious as well. I’m not entirely sure that their food is worth what it’s priced, but with the service and ambiance you get an incredible experience“

“I’m a tough critic and am super impressed with the quality, service and cleanliness of Koibito Poke! Sanitation grade 99. Parking is very convenient in the garage. There are signs that you need to register to park but we’ve learned that pay to park is not enforced. So glad we found this place!“

“Best sushi place I have tried here in Charlotte hands down, let me tell you why. Delicious sushi, friendly & timely service, scrumptious bubble tea (I personally recommend their taro), and all of this at a phenomenal price. I got 32 pieces of sushi (with protein in them) and two bubble teas for under $50? AND the quality and flavor of all of it was completely uncompromised by the price! Don't let the fact that this a sushi stand at the mall fool you, this is 100% one of the best places to get amazing and affordable sushi here in Charlotte.“
