“Dinner at The Cowfish is always a win. We’ve visited the Orlando location dozens of times, but tonight bisited the Charlotte location since we were in town. Faith, our server, recommended the Togarashi shrimp, and it was phenomenal. Mel, the manager, came out and spoke to us about our visits to Orlando, made some more recommendations, and made sure we were well set for the evening. We had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and Texas chili cheeseburger, both were absolutely excellent. The Cowfish is a must stop in Charlotte or Orlando!“

“This is a hidden gem in Charlotte. Although technically in Dilworth, it’s close to South End and it’s the best sushi I’ve had in Charlotte so far. Somehow it’s never packed and you can walk right in on a Saturday night with no wait, which is shocking considering how good the food is. We got the crispy rice with spicy tuna, hadouken roll, edamame, and chicken/shrimp hibachi and everything was amazing. Very fast and great service as well. Highly recommend this spot if you are looking for good sushi in Charlotte!“

“Really delicious ramen! Neighborhood gem. We tried the Doza & Tonkatsu ramens. Super flavorful pork broth, perfect soft eggs & grilled pork belly toppings. We didn't try the sushi, but plan to come back :) super friendly staff!“

“Toni was amazing! We had a group of 8 celebrating Mother’s Day this past Saturday and she made our night perfect. The food, drinks and atmosphere were all excellent. Toni even spent time helping us get great group pictures outside and just went above and beyond to ensure our experience was exceptional!“

“Me and my significant other have been regular customers of this establishment for a little over a year now. It is quite possibly my favorite place to get some good sushi and Asian cuisine in the entirety of Mecklenberg county. The people that work at and own the place are top notch and have some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen. If you want good food and know it was made by good people, eat here asap. I can’t recommend this place enough!“

“Went here for dinner with my husband, cool vibes and good sushi! Got the spicy tuna roll, the Southend Roll, a Kani Salad and the Super Rainbow Roll. It was really great fish to rice ratio for the rolls and the Southend Roll was very delicious! Tried one of their November special cocktails called the Campfire Mule- with Makers Mark, Lemon, and Maple Syrup topped with a toasted square marshmallow which was good! Nice place to grab good sushi!
Parking: There is a paid parking lot/paid parking spots across the street from Sushi Hana. There is also a sidewalk sign outside of the restaurant where they show you where you can park for free also!

“We have been to Ming Fu Waxhaw several times and have enjoyed the food. The sushi is presented artfully and the fish is always fresh. The Chinese entrees are always excellent in both taste and presentation. The spice level of any dish can be customized and I always enjoy extra spicy. The service has always been excellent whether seated in the restaurant or at the sushi bar. The only negative is that the restaurant closes at 0830 pm which is early compared to other restaurants in the area.“

“Dinner with the fam! Love going to Yama when in the mood for sushi. My go to is the rainbow roll and Salmon nigiri. Also had the yellow tail nigiri (second favorite). Tried one of the specials, Salmon belly, but I'm still not sure how I feel about it. We were told it was smoked, but it came out cooked. So a bit misleading. Definitely prefer my salm raw. Tried their Lychee martini, and that was delish!“

“We’ve tried a few poke places, and this is our favorite! Fresh ingredients, good portions, a nice variety, and friendly service. Even though other poke restaurants are closer to our house, we keep going to this one. I would have included a picture, but I’ve already finished eating the food.“
