“We sat at the bar on a Sunday night when some other establishments were closed. Those at the bar are served by the bar tender. My wife had the burger special and I had the sirloin steak on baguette with peppers and onions. Huge portions, a good beer selection on tap and in can/bottles. Food arrived quickly and the service at the bar was excellent, bartender knowledgeable about the area, history, Pisgah National Forest etc. Place has a local feel to it. Definitely will be back.“

“This is my favorite breakfast spot. The food is delicious, the portions are generous and reasonably priced. The service is excellent (generally very quick) with friendly waitstaff. You can’t go wrong with their lunch and dinner options either.“

Ate a little at the restaurant and took a large portion home to eat on that evening. Highly recommend, although parking in downtown Brevard can be a challenge.“

“Went there for lunch ,sat down at the table. no one waited on me for 12 minutes so I decided to get up and place my order at the counter to get it to go waited another 15 minutes or more. didn't give me a napkin so I had to sit and eat my truck they need to seriously get some help there if you're going to run a business you need help on a good note the food was great.“

“Very cool spot!!! We had the pleasure of passing through Brevard and it is such a cute little spot. We had picked out the brewery on the map as a reward for hiking lol. It was great. The bartender, Chris, was wonderful. He gave us a ton of recommendations on stuff to do in the area and it was a delight talking to him about his favorite beers and things. The brewery doesn’t serve food but has snacks like chips and pretzels, plus they allow outside food. Chris recommended the Mexican restaurant next door, a cafe, and even had menus ready for us. We wended up grabbing food from Big Mikes across the way. We came back for another beer and had a great time at the brewery. I loved the red ale and the Pilsner.“

“Great cheap food. Best biscuit I've ever had at a restaurant.... Bacon was a bit salty but that is a matter of personal preference I'm sure. Other than that great biscuits, but the hash bites are not good. Still overall very great place for the price.“

“We live in Cashiers, NC, but travel to Brevard and Asheville on a regular basis. We have no Asian or Thai food in Cashiers. So we were happy to discover New China in a strip shopping area in Brevard. This is basically a take out place. There are a few tables that you could eat ate, but the interior doesn't look like the pictures on the site. However, that minor issue aside, the food is great. Their hot sour soup is some of the best I have had anywhere. The rest of the extensive menu offerings, include some Thai dishes, that are good as well. Their combination platters are a really good deal. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend giving it a try for carryout.“

“Had a wonderful dinner after the remarkable Brevard Elementary School Christmas program last Thursday Night at El Ranchero. It was later discovered the following afternoon that My Mother had lost her small turquoise colored change purse with her drivers license, a few credit cards and cash. As we were about to leave, she recalls having it in lap as she was leaving our server a tip. We have called the restaurant and no one turned it in. Just hoping someone would see this to do the right thing. Thursday December 15th between 7:45-8pm. Credit Cards are reported lost/stolen. Don’t be a Grinch this Christmas just do the right thing is all. Thank You!“
