“What can I say??? We LOVE English Rose. It’s a comfortable place where we can go have coffee and a treat, or ice cream, or my favorite energy drink. Marie and her family are the best. They have created a wonderful community gathering place for Pleasant Garden and the surrounding Southeast community. We also enjoy Food Truck Fridays. Marie’s creativity and desire to unite the community have brought a wonderful addition to Pleasant Garden. My favs: chocolate brownie and Granny Squares and the gluten-free guava cupcakes”

“Absolutely amazing coffeeshop, hidden in a corner of a shopping center. They have treats from Italy, the crepes and baklava are SO good! The espresso is probably the best we've ever had. And the owner and barista were kind and helpful. We absolutely recommend this place, even if it's out of your way. You won't regret it.”

“I like this bar & grill as an occasional visit spot. Good food and beer selection. Good sports bar/hangout atmosphere. The service can generally be okay, but 1 bartender really needed to suck it up and be less attitudinal and impatient with another patron on the last visit. As a witness to the whole situation, she definitely was not being hospitable or attentive to some patrons. I get it. All of us have stressful days, but you have to leave it behind for each new customer and show your best face because it isn't for you (other than tips) but for the business.”

“Stayed over night in Greensboro on our way to Maryland. Had selected a different vegan place earlier in the day to stop at for dinner but decided to give Mike’s vegan grill a try. The staff were welcoming and friendly! The vibe of the restaurant was cool! I can’t praise the place enough for the amount of food selections they have. So many entrees to pick from! Loved all our choices. Wished we had been able to stay longer in Greensboro because would have definitely eaten here every time! a great place for vegans and non vegans to eat!”
