“What can I say??? We LOVE English Rose. It’s a comfortable place where we can go have coffee and a treat, or ice cream, or my favorite energy drink. Marie and her family are the best. They have created a wonderful community gathering place for Pleasant Garden and the surrounding Southeast community. We also enjoy Food Truck Fridays. Marie’s creativity and desire to unite the community have brought a wonderful addition to Pleasant Garden. My favs: chocolate brownie and Granny Squares and the gluten-free guava cupcakes”

Mostly because its my primary source of caffeine and their tasty beverages keep me from absolutely crashing out. Whether its coffee or matcha, there isnt a bad drink on the menu. Plus, the staff are always so sweet and do such a good job of being personable while keeping things moving.”

“Went to Neighbors for the first time last night. Have lived in Greensboro for three years now and always wanted to check it out. IDK what took us so long. Great food, vibe, drinks. “Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because of Alana. I came here the other day and one of the gentleman working was rude with a smart mouth. I ordered via the app and went inside to pick up the cookies. Was told they were out and I simply asked why did it let me order on the app. Instead of being nice, he just kept saying smart stuff so I asked for a refund bc he told me it would be a hour until they made more. In order to get a refund he had to call the store manager so I stepped off to the side while he called. Came back and said the manager would call me when it’s done so I asked should I wait then. In a snarky tone He was like if you want but it will be 30 minutes bc he is running a business. With that and all the other smart stuff he was saying, I went off bc you’re not about to keep speaking to me any type of way when I’ve been nothing but nice. He finally went to the back and got someone with sense to come speak to me. Alana was very apologetic and got me right. The gentleman should have been apologizing as well. He needs more training on customer service and I can only imagine how many other people he’s smart with. That was my first time coming to this location as I just moved to the area and I won’t be back.”

“Absolutely amazing coffeeshop, hidden in a corner of a shopping center. They have treats from Italy, the crepes and baklava are SO good! The espresso is probably the best we've ever had. And the owner and barista were kind and helpful. We absolutely recommend this place, even if it's out of your way. You won't regret it.”

“Fantastic cheese curds…a must have! I had the Italian beef sandwich “baptized”. I’m from Chicago and know what the sandwich is supposed to taste like. They really delivered on it. Taste, texture, and condiments were very similar to what I would expect in Chicago. Well done! The only feedback is that the bathrooms needed attention.”

“Mike's Vegan Grill specializes in vegan food so you know it's not an afterthought. I tend to eat more "healthy vegan" with no oil and low fat and this is NOT that, but it's a great option for me occasionally. My omni friend enjoyed her food as well. Updated from previous review on 2025-06-29”
