This place is interesting. It is kinda tricky to find. The food can be great, or not great. This time I had the swordfish. It was highly overcooked. The broccolini was highly undercooked, to the point that it could not be cut with a fork and a butter knife. The sauce was fairly bland. For seafood, I would not come back. Now.... With that said... It was a fabulous dinner. We had the snapper ceviche, grilled romaine Caesar salad, shrimp tacos and delicious churros for dessert. The bread and weed butter was amazing, too! We'll definitely be back!

My wife and I celebrated her birthday with dinner at Cortez last night. Overall it was a great experience! The only nit would be we waited 10-15 mins after being seated for our waitress to stop by.
