I have celiac disease which means I’m severely allergic to gluten and any cross contamination with gluten will cause a bad reaction for me. This specific jersey mikes is the best at accommodating for me. When I ask for gluten free bread they always ask if it’s preference or allergy. When I let them know I have an allergy they immediately clean everything off, change gloves, and use a separate knife. I came in on a slow night as NC State was on Christmas break. Instead of goofing off, as it seems kids will these days, the 2 employees were busily cleaning the store, scrubbing the kitchen area. They immediately stopped, scrubbed their hands and attended to my order. My sandwich was fresh and well made. I will definitely go back to this location
short walk from hill library/campus, very friendly employee (he was a young black guy who was super smiley and helpful). even though they were short staffed today I didn't have to wait too long for a delicious sandwich. it was stuffed with toppings and I definitely got enough for what I paid for. it was also very clean and nice looking on the outside and inside, which was nice to see because Hillsborough street can look rough sometimes. thanks for nourishing me while I study for...read full review
