I've only been to the one in Talley. I ordered a small hot chocolate and they charged me something outrageous like $10. I sat around for 30 minutes because I didn't hear them call my name. I didn't hear them shout anything at all, even though I was really close to the counter. They had a lot of GrubHub orders, but I was the only person waiting around for my drink so I was surprised they didn't try to get my attention and tell me my drink was ready. I love PCJ and I always get an iced vanilla latte however it's always hit or miss if it's going to be good. My first job was a barista so how hard is it to pump syrup, pour espresso, and add milk? The mocha freezes are absolutely disgusting at this location - I honestly wouldn't even bother to order that. It tastes like dirt and water - literally.

The last time I went to a North Carolina State Women’s Basketball game (11/15/23). I went next door to the student center to this Port City Java location to get an Iced Latte with sugar-free vanilla. It was not anything like what I am used to getting at the Port City Java locations in Wilmington. It had a very bitter/burnt taste. Hopefully, this was a one-off because I usually really love their coffee.
