Sunflower's Cafe is a restaurant with a history and a reputation. The food is delish, fresh, and excellent. The sandwiches are absolutely delicious, literally melting in your mouth, and the bread quality is filled with neat little seeds and minerals. The foccacia, salads, and carrot ginger soup are consistently delicious, and the banana pudding is truly out of this world, prepared fresh in house. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, spacious, and well decorated, with an amazing vibe. The service is fast, kind, and excellent. The staff are some of the coolest people you'll meet, and people like to work here, which is a huge success. It is a lovely cafe close to the Gipson Play area at Dix Park, family friendly, and the new location means not having to go all the way into downtown. The slushies are a special treat. The only weird thing is the pile of chips, which is a bit unhealthy, and there is a wish for french fries instead. Pretty decent for $15.
