“My husband, friend, and I recently discovered this gem of a retro-style deli by chance, when driving back to Maryland from Sunset Beach, NC. The lunch sandwiches and homemade chips were delicious, and the owners, Winnie and John, could not have been nicer or more personable. We thoroughly enjoyed our long conversation with John and were totally fascinated to learn about the world of pigeon racing. We will definitely make this our preferred lunch stop on our future trips! “This is the best subway ever I am welcomed with more than a hot sandwich I love the coffee the have I am greet with warm smiles these people here go that extra mile to give you straight from home feeling they make it worth rolling out of the bed and going the extra mile i going today for a 6' tuna with provolone cheese sweet onion Sussex and bell pepper and bacon have mercy that's a good sandwich with some fresh never yesterday's tea I am in heaven can I get an amen“

“The guy that took care of us was great! The store was extremely busy and he went right along with it taking care of us and other customers. Then a lady behind us started giving her server a hard time about the price she was going to be charged, so he spoke up and tried to explain to her that what she was ordering was different than what she ordered last trip so of course the price would be different. Well you know there is always that one person who cant comprehend and just has to make a scene... Anyway, long story short he kept his cool, handled her and checked us out with no problems. I'm thinking about going back and offering him a job!“

“The very best breakfast and lunch sandwiches you will find. Owner is so friendly and takes great pride in the restaurant and it shows. As a native New Jerseyan it is near impossible to find the classics from the metro area down south, but this place nails it. Taylor ham, egg & cheese on a hard roll with salt, pepper, ketchup. She knew how we wanted it before we had to ask! You can’t beat that. Excellent people producing quality food. Highly recommended!“

“I now have a new favorite sub. The #17 garlic roast beef. It's roast beef, 2x provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a garlic aoli sauce that is absolutely delicious! It was a bonus that the sandwich artist already knew to reach for the Italian herbs & cheese bread. It was great toasted.“
