“This is the best seafood restaurant around. My husband & I were celebrating our anniversary & had plans to go to another seafood restaurant when our daughter in law suggested Coronet. Everything about this place is awesome. Ample parking. Spacious dining area. Friendly staff. Short wait time. Excellent food. Attentive waitresses. Plenty of menu options. What else can anyone ask for?We saw quite a few cars when we got there & expected a wait but the restaurant is large enough to accommodate a lot of people. We were seated immediately & got our drinks & they brought some complimentary hush puppies. The food came to the table quickly & someone came out from the kitchen to make sure the food was ok. We had the most amazing waitress & the entire dining experience was wonderful. We were taking a couple of boxes home & the cashier offered to put them in a bag which was really nice. They also offer a 4% discount if you pay in cash. This was the best restaurant experience I've ever had & I'm looking forward to returning. You just can't go wrong here. They deserve more than 5 stars.“

“I chose the 2 item dinner - popcorn shrimp and catfish, my wife had the small flounder plate. Both were served 'pipping' hot with slaw and really nice hush puppy rings. I had onion rings (upgraded side) and she had fried zucchini (huge side). There was NO oil flavor noticeable and you could taste the flavor of the entree in each bite. The portion sizes were very large and we both carried take-home boxes with enough for lunch today. The most outstanding thing is their cocktail sauce. I bought a container to bring home to serve with cold shrimp at Thanksgiving. In all, this was a meal well worth the 30+ minute drive from West Winston-Salem (Calvary Baptist Church area).“

“Our favorite restaurant in Winston-Salem by a long shot! Consistently excellent across the board with over 100 visits over the last 10 years. The chef Curtis is a mushroom forager so any dish with mushrooms is a must try. For a “fine dining” establishment it is remarkably unostentatious and laid back. Check out this little hidden gem of a restaurant today!“

“The Old Fashioned Carolina Burger at Village Tavern at Reynolda Village is a revelation. The menu description doesn't even come close. Imagine a brioche bun – a symphony of soft and sturdy – cradling a juicy, perfectly cooked beef patty beef patty that explodes with savory goodness in every bite. But hold on folks, because here's where the real magic happens. The chili, slaw, dill pickles, and chopped onions join the party, creating a flavor symphony unlike any other. Each ingredient plays its part flawlessly, not overpowering but harmonizing in delicious perfectionThen come the sweet potato fries – the perfect opening or closing act. Lightly dusted with maple sugar, they're a sweet, crispy serenade that'll have you humming with delight. Pro-tip: Don't share. These fries deserve a standing ovation, all to yourself.“

“One of my sisters decided to treat myself and 2 other sisters to North Point Grill. We arrived a little after 3pm on a Saturday, we were greeted and seated promptly, and there was only one other table being served. It's very open and spacious. They also have a private dining room that can be reserved. They have an extensive menu and a variety of cuisine. American/southern (burgers, meatloaf, baked chicken), salads, Italian pasta dishes, Greek/Mediterranean, and a ton deserts. We started with some ginormous potato skins. They were loaded with bacon, cheese, and green onion and served with a side of ranch. They were piping hot and justvas a potatoe skin should be. Some sour crram would have been nice. They probably would've given us some if asked, but we didn't. I decided on the meatloaf with lima beans, stewed cabbage, and a roll. I was warned that the meatloaf is typically served with the ketchup sauce/gravy on top. That's not a preference, and they were able to serve it without it. The meatloaf was seasoned well with a great texture. The stewed cabbage and lima beans weren't as flavorful as I would've liked, but they were still good. Now, that damn roll!! Imma go back just for the roll. It was so warm, fluffy, and buttery! It was just perfect. I should've asked for an extra one! I also had sweet tea to drink, and it was perfectly brewed and sweetened. Other orders at the table included: - baked chicken with rice and lima beans -grilled chicken salad (it was HUGE) -bologna sandwich with fries and a side of cabbage. Everyone enjoyed everything, and the servings were so large that we all had food to take home.“

“As soon as you walk in you will see the daily specials. There is a full bar that you can sit at as well as a large dining area. It is a very laid back atmosphere. We were seated immediately and host as well as server was very friendly. There is a nice selection of mixed drinks as well as beers. There are a few small dishes but the main attraction are the seafood boil bags. We are not big ballers so we did not get the Fri/Sat “Market Price” lobster tails with snow crabs. We opted for the pound of headless shrimp bag and the pound of mussels. Both come with corn and potatoes. For an up charge, you can add sausage, eggs, or more corn and potatoes. There are different sauces and heat levels. We tried the Crafty house sauce(Will get med next time) and the garlic butter(could have been a bit more garlicky). We were satisfied with both. If you worry about your salt intake then I suggest you get the sauce on the side, this way you avoid your BP going up. Mine went up cause I live on the edge!“

“**UPDATE:We had finally got in contact with someone and we explained that we are due any day now with a baby so we don’t know when we are able to make it in at this point and wish to just receive a refund instead of gift card. They were quick and kind to respond, and shortly after we ended up receiving a gift card in the mail anyway. We just left it at that and hope to make it in for a visit in the future. Then, we received an email apologizing for this miscommunication and poor experience and were finally given a refund. We appreciate them making it right in the end, just took 2 months to work it all out!*original review-We had booked a reservation and then someone in our group came down with Covid so we had to cancel, and due to their cancellation policies we were only allowed to receive a gift card to use at another date. That process alone was very confusing. We could not get anyone to answer the phone or reply to emails for a while. Once we finally were able to get in contact with someone they told us we would receive the gift card in the mail. It has now been almost a month and a half now and we have yet to receive any kind of refund or gift card, despite following up via email a couple times and trying to get someone on the phone. This is very unprofessional and has left a bad impression of the establishment before we’ve even been able to step foot in the door.“
