“Excellent little coffee shop, tucked away in the Haw River Ballroom. Not a huge selection of coffee drinks, but they make what they do offer VERY well.

I had a cinnamon oat milk latte, which was creamy and not too sweet, with just enough cinnamon.
My better half got an iced chai latte, which she loved. And she’s quite the chai snob!

The barista was also very knowledgeable not only about coffee but chai as well!! Not as usual as it should be that a barista knows what they’re talking about when it comes to chai, so that was a nice surprise.

We’ll definitely be coming back here when we’re in the area.“

“Went here to get coffee and some pastries yesterday (3/26) and the service was phenomenal! The coffee was the best that I have had from any small business ever. Got a red velvet cupcake and a blueberry muffin to take home. Both of them were so delicious! The prices are reasonable and the experience was just wonderful. Can't wait to come back!“

Discussed upcoming changes to their site (mobile ordering come July!) and just overall had a lovely attitude. I’ve never been to a DD with such great customer service. “Ordered ahead while on my way to an out of town appointment. Got there and my breakfast sandwich was ready, but I waited 10 minutes for my drink. By then, my sandwich was cold. Not sure what the hold up was for the drink as there were over 10 employees behind the counter, but only one poor employee making all the drinks. Perhaps the overly efficient sandwich heater person could have helped the drinks catch up to the 12+ (I counted)cooling sandwiches cooling off on the counter. Won't be returning to that location.“
