“Toscanos Bistro in Shelby is one of those rare spots that makes you feel like you've stumbled onto something special. Their menu blends classic Greek and Italian dishes, and everything I've tried has been full of flavor and freshness.

The real standout for me, though, is their Chicken Ala Francesca. It is hands down my favorite dish. It's a creamy chicken and mushroom pasta that's rich without being heavy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection every time. The sauce is so flavorful that you'll want to savor every bite (and maybe even grab some bread to soak up what's left on the plate).

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, whether you're dining in for a cozy night out or picking up takeout. The staff are friendly and attentive, and you can tell they care about the food and the experience.

“The Best Eggplant Parmesan that I have ever eaten, and the portions are huge ! “Our waitress [ our receipt says cashier: Jackie} We paid at our table (10 in front dinning area...was AMAZING!!! Her mom was waiting on a large party in the back of the restaurant and she was assisting her mom as well as waiting tables in the front. Our ticket got lost in the kitchen.....our waitress quickly realized this and sincerely apologized. This mishap was clearly NOT her fault.....she handed the situation with professionalism and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Her and her Mom are both assets to Italian Garden.. JOB WELL DONE LADIES...🥰“

“Me and my partner recently went to this place for his birthday. When we first arrived, I don't think the pizza was fresh, but later they brought out new ones that tasted more fresher. I tried a variety of pizzas:

1. Cheese pizza with red sauce: the sauce is a little on the sweet side for me, but a solid slice. 4/5

2. Cheese pizza without sauce: Bland and kinda dry but okay 3/5

3. Cheeseburger pizza: My favorite, was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. Has a strong mustard and pickle flavor, which I enjoyed, this one is really good. 5/5

4. Taco Pizza: A close runner up for my favorite, was also surprised by how much I enjoyed this one. The fresh shredded lettuce on top was nice and crunchy and good.

5. Dessert pizzas: all were tasty.

I was a little disappointed that I could not start with a salad, as all the lettuce looked wilted and not very appetizing. The spaghetti and meatballs also did not look fresh so I did not want to try them. The macaroni and cheese also tasted old and quite dry. My partner tried the garlic bread and pepperoni rolls, both of which were so old and dry and hard that they were inedible unfortunately.

SO overall, I have mixed feelings about the food and selection, but some it was really good, like the cheeseburger and taco pizza. I would be willing to order a whole one of these two varieties because they were so good. The waitress was nice and also the waitress was attentive. At $8 for an adult, I feel like it's a decent value overall for what you get, and despite a few disappointments, I would still be willing to go back.“
