“This Hardee's has really did a 180. It was always pretty bad to be honest. Once I saw and met the newer manager there, Ben, its been our favorite spot since. It's consistently on point and the staff are all friendly and seem happy. Give this place another try.“

“We had a large party of 28 people +2 babies and everyone at BluStar was amazing. Food was delicious, hot and served with smiles. This was a special family dinner after a wake for our Mom. The owner personally arranged and managed our party from booking until we walked out the door The Unexpected surprise of Dad's favorite dish was the sweetest gesture. “A small spot great for take-out, a quick bite, or to have a solid meal or small plates with your drinks as they also have a full bar. Service was spot on and very attentive. Food is mostly a mix of sandwiches and food from the frier, but dang is it delicious with some nice surprises with mixing american and asian flavors. Highly recommend the cheese steaks and chief amount them was a cheese steak made with Korean bulgogi. We will definitely be back!“

“What a cute family owned restaurant! Inside consists of many tables and booths. The hostess told us that we could seat ourselves and menus were already at the table. We came in wanting breakfast! Our waitress was friendly and funny the entire time. All of the entrees were delicious! We ordered French toast, a western omelette with a fruit cup & turkey sausage, the pop special which came with eggs, French toast, bacon and hash browns! We love coming here for breakfast!“

“Have had 2 experiences here. Service is friendly. Faster than steak and shake but slower than McDonald's. I've only had burgers here and they are good. They have a huge ice cream selection and a broader menu selection than most fast food places. Had monster burger.. cost $8. Inside atmosphere a cross between a sports bar and fast food. Will eat here again.“

“Eating at Pop's is a place that makes you want to go back very often!! The food is out of this world good!! The staff is very friendly and is another reason to enjoy your dining experience. So do yourself a favor and plan a night out in Catawba, NC. With two other places, the junction and the cedar stump, within walking distance (only a block away) that have live music on Friday and Saturday nights, a destination you won't regret!! “LETS START WITH IMA FOODIE AND I LOVE FOOD. WELL GREAT PREPARED FOOD.This place USED TO BE one of MY FAVORITE places to eat.SHOUT OUT TO STEPHANIE and her twin sister and a couple of the other ladies who serve there.The Black lady that is NOW or was a couple of months ago the short order cook IS ON FREAKIN POINT.IT IS THE OWNER(Mother) and sometimes the daughter or it's sometimes the owner(daughter )and ALL THE TIME THE MOTHER.I have gotten 2 different stories of who owns the place.Either the mama or the daughter. The MAMA IS EITHER RACIST OR PREJUDICE. 2 different things google it. I don't know which.I've not really seen other people of color there to eat unless I bring them, so not quite sure. The thing is I USED TO TELL PEOPLE ABOUT THE PLACE. Bragged on it even before they got the new cook. BUT AFTER BAYBAY!! So good I was tipping Stephanie and the cook.I will admit when I go out to eat I'm VERY PARTICULAR about my food. At first, there was no consistency on the food quality. Having to send it back maybe 2 or 3 times. NEVER ASKED FOR FREE FOOD OR MY MONEY BACK. Then they got themselves a Black Lady (Sorry cant remember her name) short-order cook. MY LAWD Stephanie knows how I like my food and when I ordered JEEZZZZUUUUS. I went back like 3 days in a row. She was surprised I had been back so many times. I told her food was GREAT. The 3rd time quality sucked again. I asked why that's when she told me.After that, I started calling first to see if NEW cook was cooking before I went.The last time I went, I took my granddaughter. The new cook was cooking. We put half in to-go boxes and started on the other half. Stephanie asked us BOTH how the food was and we both said not good. We sent it back. The MAMA came back with attitude and said well y'all ate most of it, I'm not sure what you want.I looked at her (now this is the 3rd TIME SHE HAS BEEN RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL TO ME) one time I had been taking pictures of the spot to post on my Instagram to shout out the place. The MAMA started yelling at me I couldn't take pictures of the people(I KNOW). Once she informed me SHE WAS THE OWNER and it was her place and basically what she said went.Well, this time I was tired of her rudeness and I wanted to show my granddaughter that classy and my dollars make the difference between ignorant and rudeness. So I politely said excuse me. We didn't eat it all here's the other half of the food in the to-go boxes. She looked at us and the boxes and said oh. Took the to-go boxes to make completely new orders. I asked to make sure the cook had made my food and was remaking my food. She said yes. I didn't believe her. Because the young lady had NEVER MESSED UP AN ORDER OF MINE BEFORE.I told Stephanie what happened and I wouldn't be back.I miss that food, the other servers, and especially Stephanie, but I can't go back.So I really don't know how to answer the star questions. “This place is easily is a 5 star because you can never please everyone and let's also face the fact that servers sometimes have a bad day. Additionally, its not the servers fault for food that is incorrectly cooked, they are not making the food, they are the messengers. I have eaten here maybe 10 times over the years and every time it's a 5 star. We were just there this week with a party of 20! Our waiter was Travis. “I have a place in my heart for these local eateries... They are slowly disappearing across the country, so every chance I get, I go out of my way to enjoy.The Lunch Box has been around for decades, shows its age, but I wouldn't change a thing. As to food, the menu has five weekly specials. Burgers are a big seller equal to any $15 burger but half the price. I shared the Wednesday. Special beef stew on rice, pinto beans, and cabbage with my partner as we are petite eaters... Mamma, take me home:) nothing fancy, just satisfying home cooked fare. If you get a chance, a must stop along the less traveled road.“

“This place has a great aesthetic. Upon entering, you are greeted by retro. The bill's banana split caught my eye. When it arrived, the spoons were kind of greasy because of the bananas, so my fingers were all sticky at the end.I did think that there would be different flavors, but it consisted of just vanilla. The cutlery that they provided was unfortunate. If it had been other than plastic, the presentation would have taken a big step ahead. We also ordered the veggie burrito, and it was hot and delicious. The way it was presented was fantastic. Keep in mind that THEY CHARGE EXTRA IF YOU PAY WITH CREDITCARD. They hadn't informed about this beforehand, which was disappointing. Make sure you carry some cash.“

“Had breakfast here today and was delighted with my food. I ordered a baloney, egg and cheese biscuit. The egg was fluffy and the thick slice of baloney was twice the size of the biscuit. Everything was perfectly cooked. The staff were not particularly friendly and the place is not fancy at all. Rolls of paper towels placed on each table serve as napkins - my kind of place! The iced tea didn't have enough ice in it to properly cool the contents but the flavor was very good.“

“This was our first trip to a Culver's and both my husband and I were very pleased! We were traveling back home to Virginia after visiting family in North Carolina. A coworker of mine who is originally from Wisconsin also recommended Culver's. I was looking forward to trying something new!!We went though the drive thru and the nice lady at the speaker box and window, Maya, was super helpful and kind. She made sure to mention which drinks were which and labeled them. She was very polite, welcoming, and had a terrific smile!!The young man that brought out the food to our car was professional as well and read our order back to us before handing over the bag of food to make sure of accuracy. He was very kind and smiled and was polite too.The burgers we got flew my tastebuds to the moon! Oh my goodness where do I begin? The burgers do not taste like fast food at all. They taste like homemade and fresh burgers. The cheesecurds blew my mind and the preztel bites and fries were also enjoyable! I liked trying the Culver's sauce and dipping the cheese curds and fries with them. We also tried a concrete mixer with Reeses and caramel and that was amazing too!It was such a pleasant experience and truly we enjoyed it! We wish there was one much closer to our home in Virginia so we could visit more often! Would love to go back next time I travel through. Between the amazing customer service and the amazing food I would recommend Culver's (specifically this store) to anyone!“
