“Best specialty tacos in Lake Norman area. Standard menu includes a few traditional tacos as well as some southern-inspired (fried green tomatoes taco, etc). I have a few favorites that are hard to expand beyond, but have tried a few of the weekly specials and have not been disappointed (grilled cauliflower). Their salsa is very good, so would always recommend chips and salsa as a side.“

“The atmosphere was pleasing with tastful decor. A nice man was on site taking requests for songs and playing his guitar, which made our dining experience very pleasant, along with a friendly team. The restaurant was really busy and only half of our order arrived at first. Unfortunately, it was only luke warm, and the hard tacos were already soggy. The ground beef was not seasoned either. My chili relleno tasted great and was well prepared, but it wasn't hot. The rest of the order arrived a good 10 minutes later. The chips and salsa were good, as was the queso. I'm not a complainer, just a little underwhelmed.“

“This place is such a refreshing surprise after moving from California and fearing we wouldn’t find any tasty Mexican food. Their chips & cheese sauce are my fave thing there. Hubby loves their carne asada burritos, I love their nachos, and everyone we tell goes back for more. The best thing about this place is the friendly service. “I had an amazing time at Rio15! Our server, Antonio, was amazing! He was super attentive, helpful, quick, and always checked up on us. He updated us on our food, always made sure our drinks were filled, and made sure we were okay. When we come back, we’ll definitely ask for him. When you go to Rio15, ask for Antonio!
