“For a Chinese strip mall joint, this place is actually 5 stars for appearance. I had to give a neutral 3 because it is still a strip mall eatery that is meant mostly for take out. I assume people do use the lobby at lunch time to escape the heat and enjoy a meal, but this is very school house cafeteria vibes. The food is always great and portions that barely fit into the plate. My favorite place for Chinese takeout is China king from mcgees xrds!! “Benson, NC”“

“From NY & this place is closest to NY Chinese food we had since been here. Get a lot for your money. Was so good will be back. Egg roll was to die for even sweet & sour chicken. Hubby loved the beef & broccoli.“

“One piece of advice, don't get delivery. Pick up only and show up 5 minutes before your projected "order ready" time.
There are dishes that they do up right and then some that could use some R&D.
1. Sesame Chicken = great!
2. Egg Foo Yung = great!
3. Sweet & Sour chicken = as expected
4. Moo shu pork or chicken = the moo shu is good, but the pancakes are shit! I use tortillas from LA Bonita
5. Beef with garlic sauce = awesome!
6. Fried rice = don't waste your money
7. Dragon & Phoenix = good
8. Shrimp with cashew = great!
9. Wonton soup = don't even
10. Hot & sour soup = good
11. Shrimp & scallop in pepper sauce = very few scallops, and it would be sooooooo much better with sautéed shrimp. The breaded and fried shrimp in the dish are just mushy and gross.

Lastly...could we get an option to NOT put a bazillion packets of sauce in the bag?!?!“

“The first plate of food was very tasty. Egg roll, sesame chicken, coconut shrimp, spicy shrimp with onions and zucchini and a chicken wing.
I almost forgot the long black hair that was in the green beans I was eating... yuck !!!🤮“

“Stating this now; probably the best Chinese food around in Johnston County, NC. Fresh flavor and vegetables every time, have had this spot at least 5+ times and even did our Christmas dinner carryout order from this spot. Honey Chicken, Beef & Broccoli, Sesame Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken, Lo Mein, Egg Rolls & Crab Rangoon are all solid choices. The Hot & Sour soup is superb as well, super friendly staff. Check them out!!!“
