“Went two times in two days while we were visiting family because we love Hendrix! Can't go wrong with the breakfast or BBQ...my favorites! Also, we love that kids eat free! Such a deal, and will keep us coming back for years!

“Wow 601, you completely blew us away. The heart and soul in this restaurant is something that you truly can’t find anywhere anymore. The owner is even more smiley in person than he is online. Even if the food was bad we would return just for him! You HAVE to give this place a chance! Options for everyone including kids. Food is just delicious and made fresh upon order. They offer mobile ordering in case you don’t have time to wait. Our wait was only 10 minutes for 4 dishes! Can’t wait to try more :)“

“Our group of friends went last night! excellent service! I can't remember our waitresses name, but she was shorter with long blonde hair and was amazing! very attentive! very helpful! the food was super yummy! I definitely want to come back and try more things! my husband wants to come try the brunch menu! we had a wonderful time celebrating a friend's birthday!!“

“It’s hard to beat Fried Chicken Night with the family in the Long View Dining Room at Country Club Of Salisbury on Wednesday Night! The Best Fried Chicken in town on buffet! “I usually love Marco’s…pizzas are the best, however when i tried ordering online today, to use the BOGO free pizza coupon code ON THE FRONT PAGE OF THE SALISBURY STORE WEBSITE, it wouldn’t allow me to use. I called the store to order and use the code and the guy on the phone said he had no idea why and couldn’t help me. You need your fix your website and stop advertising items/coupons that we cannot use.“

“I have eaten breakfast here many times when visiting the area but today was the first for a midday meal. I was not disappointed. The restaurant was packed but all were seated in a timely manner and our order was taken quickly. My sandwich was hot and the portions were very generous. Our server was cheerful and very attentive to our needs. I'm so happy to know that I have a place in Salisbury where I can enjoy breakfast and lunch.“

“Ate there today and the hot dogs and pepperoni buns are delicious. If you are from West Virginia or anywhere else, you need to try Yosties. It’s the only place in NC where you can get pepperoni buns and spicy hot dog chili (sauce).“

“On my birthday last night , we chose to celebrate by going out to dinner at another local restaurant. What made this restaurant stand out was that they cooked their food right in front of us. A kind man politely asked us to switch seats with him so our kids could have a better experience. We were a group of seven seated with a lovely local family of three. We enjoyed conversations about sports and other topics. At the end of the night, we were delighted to discover that our bill had been taken care of ($343.24). We were sitting with the owner of College Barbecue! We regularly visited Salisbury to watch my niece play basketball at Catawba College.We are new to the food selection in the area.I'm excited to eat at his restaurant on my NEXT visit to show my appreciation. Random acts of kindness are still having a significant impact on the world. It's wonderful to know that great people still exist. THANK YOU TO THE OWNERS OF COLLEGE BARBECUE. BE KIND“

“Located in the heart of Tyro, NC.
Their Greek Salad with grilled chicken and their Chicken Caesar Salad are great. The chicken is marinated, seasoned, and grilled, making it savory and juicy.
Their traditional bone-in Buffalo Wings are excellent. The largest wings I've had so far.
Their Strombolis and Calzones are great. Stuffed with your choice of options and baked golden brown. And a large is large. I can eat two to three meals from each.
Update 23Jun2024: If I get a stromboli from here, it is usually the Steak Special Stromboli. But today, I tried the New York Stromboli with ham, pepperoni, cheese, and other stuff with oregano and other spices on the crust. I can mumble, "WOW!" and "YUM!" But I can't say anymore because my mouth is full.“

“The Salad bar was fresh as usual. It is kept cleaned and stocked. The staff is on point!
Parking: It can fill up quickly when busy. However, it is located in a shopping center. We have always found a parking space.
Kid-friendliness: Your kids will love the pizza, spaghetti, and salad bar. Soup as well.“

“Went for an interview and left out with two of the best sandwiches on the menu so far. The Tavern and the Honey Baked Ham were to die for hands down. The atmosphere the service and the conversations were spot on. They are nice people and not to mention very clean. I will be returning back to try more on the menu and hopefully working there soon nonetheless. If you haven't checked them out please do you won't be disappointed I promise.“
