“Best place to celebrate Birthdays! Our family has gotten so large we honor Birthdays two (2) times a year: June, for Jan.-May then December, for July-Dec. Birthdays! It is a very mixed age group! Food delicious, Chefs (we had 2 )great, fun for all ages. Special Birthday drum and Ice cream and candle perfect for the 10 (Birthday Honorees). Birthday ages 1-50, and all laughed, talked, enjoyed chefs, food, the friendliness of our hostess!! This was our second time to celebrate at Shoguns, but not our last. Price isnt bad for a buffet, and the place overall if fairly clean but maybe avoid the bathroom. When we went, there was a guy stroking himself with the stall door open, and thats quite the unique experience

I do not like that they have the audacity to ask for a tip, when its entirely self serve including getting water and refills for water, thats a first for me. You walk in, pay for the meal, get asked for a tip, and then do literally everything yourself. Only time a server gets involved is to sometimes pickup plates, or on the off chance you order something from the tablet“

“I went there earlier today. the food was 100000/10 ! I had bulgogi and ramen. it didnt take forever for the food to come out but it also wasn’t rushed like fast food. My waiter was amazingg! he was a older man, like he was literally so kind and funny. idk if it was a cook or what because where I was sitting in a booth I couldn't see but one of the people there was a little rude to him about the order the order in which he bought the food out. I dont think it’s necessary for somethings to be addressed outloud in front of customers like that if no
one is complaining. kind of makes the atmosphere awkward. other than that this resturaunt deserves a million stars for the food and service“

“If you are looking for an upscale sushi/hibachi place with AWESOME food, this is it! Visiting town and had dinner. The sushi menu was extensive, with many options I habe not seen at other restaurants. We chose filet & chicken hibachi and it was perfectly prepared. The steak was so tender it melted in our mouth. The sauce in which the chicken was cooked was delicious. The atmosphete is quiet, upscale and to be honest, sexy. Our server, Skye, was helpful in answering questions and very attentive. I would have no hesitation in eating here again.“

Came in on a busy day, cashier still accomodated me and my wife's requests.

“I've ordered takeout here so that I and husband don't have to sit in the tiny dining area. The food is great! It's delicious. Sometimes the UberEats delivery takes so long that it's a couple hours and then the food is no longer even warm. My biggest issue is the price. It's almost $70 for two plates of a few vegetables and a cubed steak, cooked up nicely. I love this place, but the price for value just isn't worth it. I could save my money and go to a fancy steak house on these prices.

“Listen, when I tell you that the food I ordered was AH-MAZING, bayyyy bay it was delicious! I hadn’t been to bento box in years. I actually forget that they are over there. My husband and I were hungry and was leaving the Harris Teeter parking lot, so I said let’s go to Bento box. When we walked in the atmosphere was quiet and there were plenty of tables available to sit at. Although we got our food to go. So I got the salmon bento box with mixed veggies, house salad w/ ginger dressing, and brown rice! I wanted fried rice, but bc my husband was recently diagnosed as a diabetic I have been trying my best to change my diet with him in order to help him make better food choices. I wasn’t crazy about the brown rice bc I am used to white or fried rice, but the salmon was cooked to perfection! I don’t like my salmon too soft. I like it to be cooked well. It was cooked to perfection! The flavor was delicious! The sauce was delicious! Bc we were trying to save a little money after spending a ridiculous amount of money at the Ft Bragg fair at first my husband and I only ordered a meal for each of us and said we would share with our son. However, when the meal came out and we saw how good it looked, both of us looked at each other like I don’t want to share this with NOBODY! LOL! So we ordered a third meal for our son. My son wasn’t crazy about it, but don’t go by him bc he doesn’t like Asian food. However, out of everything in that box he ate every bit of that salmon and the salad so that ought to tell you something! LOL! He is 18 years old and very finicky btw! The salad was super fresh btw!

I don’t do a lot of reviews, but I just had to do a review bc I was definitely impressed. I wasn’t feeling good the day I went in and I just wanted to pick up something real quick so I could go home and eat a good meal and relax. This meal definitely hit the spot! Big Kudos to Bento box! “This is our second time out in two days and I’m not afraid to admit that! 🤣 Service was good both days, but Vincent on Christmas Day was great! They do a great job explaining how everything works. Our first visit someone in our party had a seafood allergy and they did an exceptional job preparing the food separately. And it didn’t take any longer than anyone else in our parties food. Even did a great job making their sushi safely. It’s a great experience and we will definitely continue to come back! 🥰“
