“Wish I could give the food 10 stars it was so good. I had the spicy miso and take naki and my daughter had the regular ramen with mochi. Both had boba. It was a really enjoyable all around experience and the staff was very helpful with our questions“

“OMG, I came to Fayetteville from Richmond, VA, to attend the Kevin Hart Show. After looking at the reviews, I selected Miyabi Japanese Steak House and planned to arrive when they open at 4 pm. I arrived at 3:50, and there was already a line in the parking lot. I am talking about 40+ folks, many of whom have parties of 5 or more. Once they open, they got us all in and seated, I was pleasantly surprised. I was even more pleased with the food and the overall service. I see why this place is close to 5-stars, and the staff there value their customers. The food was delicious, and the cooking was just amazing. I was at table/grill six a little after 4 pm, which was fantastic. I Highly recommend this place, and it is my new favorite. v/r, Dr. K. King“

“We have been looking for a Japanese restaurant to take the place of the one we usually went to which closed. We found what we really wanted at this restaurant. Excellent food at reasonable prices!! We can still split the meal because of the quantity of food!!!“

“This is our favorite place for Chinese takeout! The dishes are always flavorful, and the price is very reasonable for the large portions they serve. Our go-to order is General Tso’s Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, Roasted Pork Egg Rolls, and Egg Drop Soup. We have not been disappointed yet! Hands-down the best flavor combination between the Pork Egg Rolls and Egg Drop Soup. I highly recommend giving Matuya a try if you haven’t yet!“

“Absolute best sushi in Fayetteville hands down!! This has always been my go to for lunch and dinner for the last few years. Nothing has really changed since the first time I went, food is always amazing, staff is always on top of their game, owner is super friendly and an amazing guy to talk to when there, 12/10 on the Fayetteville places to eat, you’ll never be disappointed!“

“Unlimited sushi for under $20‼️? The food was fresh. Portions weren't too big, so you can enjoy a little taste of almost everything. There's a variety to choose from whether eating from the sushi conveyor belt, small entrees, or appetizers. Staff was friendly and prompt. I would recommend the monkey roll, the Las Vegas roll, and the beef gyoza. Will definitely be coming back???Vegetarian options: Seaweed salad, cucumber salad, veggie sushi roll, Inari (tofu) sushi, veggie hibachi.“

“Best place to celebrate Birthdays! Our family has gotten so large we honor Birthdays two (2) times a year: June, for Jan.-May then December, for July-Dec. Birthdays! It is a very mixed age group! Food delicious, Chefs (we had 2 )great, fun for all ages. Special Birthday drum and Ice cream and candle perfect for the 10 (Birthday Honorees). Birthday ages 1-50, and all laughed, talked, enjoyed chefs, food, the friendliness of our hostess!! This was our second time to celebrate at Shoguns, but not our last. Granddaddy (he paid) was happy with the cost, very reasonable for the food and entertainment! A big Shout Out to Shogun! Brenda Burgess, Lillington. 6-15-19“

“This place is usually pretty empty when we go, which is suitable to my preferences. I always get their musubi and it always hits, just like their cucumber salad. The fried rice is basic, yet top tier. Their Fayetteville roll was quite a surprise to find on the menu so I obviously had to get it, being a local, and it was absolutely epic. I do have to say that this one of the better places in town!“

“The food is ALWAYS on point!!! The steak (medium-well) & shrimp is my go to. The yum yum sauce is bomb!!! And the sweet tea is always sweet. Dine in available, but if you’re doing take out I’d call ahead your food is made fresh to order. With the exception of being closed on Monday’s I’d recommend them to anyone.“

“This is THE freshest sushi I've EVER had! Wow! Amazing! Fair price and amazing quality. I'm in from out of town...wish I was local. Gyoza and Shrimp Tempura were great. The Rainbow Roll and the Philly roll were crazy fresh!! I don't know when I'll be back, but I'll make the stop!! I had a couple of beers, it was a bit different not having a server and having to go order it, but prices reflected it. Still killer!! Clean, quiet and just overall nice place!Parking: Lots of spots and close. Easy.“

“My son wanted hibachi for his birthday so I was looking for a good place to take him. Usually, we go into town to another establishment; however, I didn't want to go into town and Sakura is much closer. I called to make a reservation since I didn't know what to expect as far as wait times had went just walked in. We were greeted upon entry and were immediately seated at a hibachi table. The ambience of the establishment is very nice, from the lighting to the interior decorations. The areas I saw appeared clean as well. In less than a minute, our waiter came to ask about our drinks followed by our order being taken. The soup and salad were delicious. We ordered shrimp, chicken, steak, and salmon hibachi, and an order of sushi. Our cook was phenomenal and very entertaining. I wish I'd gotten his name because I'd definitely recommend as well as request him the next time we decide to visit here. The portions are huge (which in my opinion makes the prices worth it). The food was delicious. 10/10 highly recommend! Thank you to the staff for an incredible birthday dinner for my son!“

“I've been going there for most my life. Cashiers and chefs are really nice and polite. Now I go there with my little daughter and they always talk to her, and the chef will do fun things to make her laugh, and I usually have help with the sauces if my hands are too full.Kid-friendliness: Said in main comment.“

“If you’re looking for a tasty hot Japanese meal without going to an expensive steakhouse, this place is for you.I love Miyabi Jr. It is hands down the tastiest, highest quality Japanese takeout in Fayetteville and probably the best I’ve ever had. It is a bummer all meals are in take out boxes now due to covid, because miyabi jr used to be a sit-down restaurant with real plates and waiters that would always clean up the mess. Regardless, the quality of food and service has never faltered. They have the best teriyaki chicken I have EVER had. Like seriously, I think about this teriyaki chicken all the time. I have tried to recreate it to no avail. While living in Fayetteville, I have probably been here at least twice a month every single month since I discovered it 8 years ago with no exaggeration. The food has NEVER been less than excellent and they’ve never gotten my order wrong either.“

“I came here with a friend and her spouse during lunch and we opted for their lunch buffet. It is located right outside the gate south side of Fort Liberty. It has a very limited parking as it is shared with the other establishments in the same strip. It can definitely get crazy busy during lunch hours since it located right outside the base. Walking in, the staff were very welcoming, courteous, and overall friendly. The place is good for teams, large groups, and solo. The buffet menu was very limited, but more than enough for a filling lunch. The noodles, the spicy pork, the bulgogi, the dumplings, the fried rolls, the fried chicken, the veggies, and the fried rice were all delicious. I specifically lived the fried rice. I've only been here once, but my friends frequent this place. And now I know why. I would definitely come back here again whenever I am in the area.“

“Ambiance and vibe was excellent...hanging ornaments, green pine and honeycomb, and lights solidified that it's a Christmas! Very happy that Koto is near my home in Carolina Lakes as there aren't too many choices when it comes to Asian Cuisine however, out of the three places in proximity, this is the best. There is seating inside for approximately 32-36 people; very clean; and the employees are excellent and helped me with my order (explained what was in each dish and even turned me on to a new beverage, Milk Tea...yum!! The only thing that didn't resonate, hence the 4-star rating, is because I chose to dine in vs take out. The food came to me in plastic containers, soup in styrofoam, and plastic wear vs ceramics, glass, and sterling silver. Aside from an indoor picnic utensil theme, the food was awesome and in huge portions! I paid $20 for a Bento box; consumed 50% in the restaurant, minus the eight mini California Sushi Roll that came with the meal; ate the sushi roll for lunch the next day and then heated up and ate the other 50% of the main course a couple days later for dinner so, what a bargain!! I'll be back!!“

“Do NOT apply to work here. This is the most unprofessional place I have ever dealt with, they refuse to give me my last check and told me it didn’t exist until I threatened to call the department of labor. Told me they would send it in the mail and two weeks later I still haven’t received it. This is all after I quit because the manager played with my money the entire time I worked here stealing tables from servers , ect.“

“Nona Sushi is an excellent restaurant to visit. I have yet to find a competitor in the area that beats their Ramen. The Sushi is well prepared and fresh with various combinations. Price is on point with quality. I will continue to dine here in the future.“

“Omg. I didn't want to try this place because I couldn't believe that their hibachi could be better than at an actual hibachi place, but let me tell you. It was way more delicious than Any of the hibachi restaurants near Bragg. It's a way better deal and honestly way more flavorful. I'm definitely going to have to come back! I got the shrimp hibachi with fried rice, veggies, soup, and gyoza.“
