“This is always our choice for dinner or lunch out. The service is impeccable. The food is exquisite and consistent. You can’t have a mediocre meal here. Everything from apps, salads, wine, crafted beverages, entrees to coffee and dessert is absolute perfection. The crab cakes are my go to. My family ran a crab company for over 65 years here in NC and when I tell you these are the best crab cakes you’ll ever have, I’m not kidding. Zero binder-just sweet, jumbo lump in every bite. They are to die for. You can’t miss the cast iron corn bread with cheddar, jack, and chiles either. That honey drizzle…?…Chef’s kiss! The salads are always cold, crisp, and fresh. My “can’t miss” dessert is the banana cream pie topped with caramel, chocolate sauce, and cacao nibs. The barrel cut filet is top tier as well. 131 Main knows how to offer a fabulous dining experience. We’ve never had anything but stellar service. Last night Morgan was absolutely incredible! We love her! The restrooms are always clean and well stocked. The open kitchen concept is a bit of torture-LOL Primarily because the minute you step into the restaurant, the smells are just heavenly! You see flame kissed beef, pork, or chicken on the grill and all of the fresh vegetables. We take home more than we eat because everything is so amazingly delicious. Thank to the BOH, FOH, and management for all of your hard work. I will continue recommending you to everyone I meet! The people I know are already life long customers.”

“We finally tried Seaboy!! Everyone had only great things to say about this place! So glad we went last Thursday!! What a great experience!!! From the moment we walked in we loved it!! We were warmly greeted, no reservation, but promptly accommodated us—seated us at the Chef’s Bar! We really enjoyed watching them create wonderful dishes!! Everything we ordered was delicious and so beautifully presented!! The owner/chef was very friendly! Our server was extremely nice too! He brought us a complimentary glass of champagne when we were seated. Pretty vintage glasses.🥂 We had yellowfin and the octopus to start. Delicious!! My entrée, the cod, was YUM!! No complaints whatsoever!! Everyone was beyond nice and accommodating!! It’s a small space—cozy—suggest reservations. Seaboy is now on our FAVE LIST!! We will definitely be back!! “Today I was Blessed with being able to share a meal with these two lovely ladies. Brenda and her grandson on the left, Lazara and our waitress Janelle.. None of us had ever been to Miami Fusion Cafe before, I'd never heard of it but Lazara's son had told her about it and that was where the ladies wanted to go so that was where we went. This does not normally happen but it happened with Janelle, I liked her attitude and demenor immediately. Janelle is a people person and interacted very well with us. She even brought Brendas grandson a coloring book. I have ate in Japan, Hong Kong, Okinawa, Philipines, all over teh USA, Mexic and Honduras and Canada and I have met some very exceptional waitresses, but Janelle tops the list as far as I am concerned. You see, I speak fluent Hillbilly and half decent Englis, and very litte Spanis, My friends told her and every time she addressed me she spoke English probably better that me and was so nice. To say the least, Janelle was an exceptional waitress and at the same time so lady. like. Her demenor and attitude was the thing that made me like her immediatly. But then came the good food aaaaand sahring a meal with Great friends, which was topped off with a this lovely, attentive, friendly, courteous, prompt, waitress with a smile that would stop you in your tracks! Janelle is a wonderful personality. My day was topped off at Miami Fusion Cafe in Denver, NC. where we met Janelle.”

“Hoptown has the absolute BEST staff! We are always greeted with smiles & kind words. There's a huge variety of beers & some cocktails to select from. There is always something fun to do from Singo to Trivia, live bands or markets you'll never be bored. Hoptown frequently has a great food truck rotation & if the food truck isn't your cup of tea Brooklyn Boys pizza delivers. There's also a wonderful little area to celebrate events. I have personally never had a party here but I've seen some beautiful baby showers & birthdays. If you haven't tried Hoptown you're missing out!”

The owner, Nelson, made sure we knew how much they cared about making an affordable and safe GF dining experience. Loved the ambience and the food; the burger was one of the best I've ever had and the gf bun was soooo fluffy! They give you a FREE cookie at the end and the gf cookie was actually soft and not crumbly. I cried a little I was so excited. I will be back!”

My sister had flown down for her birthday from a place with no Handle's, and my 83 yo grandmother had driven us up to share in her favorite ice cream, and they truly made our night! They were kind and attentive, and of course, they have absolutely delicious ice cream!! We have been Handle's fans since we were kids; every year we would go visit family in Ohio, and we would always stop at the Handle's there. We were thrilled when they opened locations in North Carolina near our family!! If you are looking for a treat, this is a great spot!”
