“The barbecue, slaw and hush puppies were very good but the chicken strips were excellent. This is a typically modest, small city barbecue restaurant that really seems to care about the product they serve. I was pleasantly shocked when I tried my daughter’s chicken, hand breaded, crispy, juicy and tender like a fancy full service restaurant might serve. I don’t get the allure of Brunswick Stew and that was the only thing I didn’t care for, it seems like nothing more than some BBQ dumped into some canned vegetable soup. Everything else was very good and I will definitely be going back.“

“I Love BBQ Joe's, but I do have a desire that I hope Joe can fulfill. BBQ Joe's now has breakfast, but BBQ is not on it. Well, my Desire is to have my BBQ in the morning with two eggs over, hash browns, toast and coffee. That's a true "Carolina Breakfast". Maybe he could call it just that! Joe, make a Country Boy's dreams come true!“

“Just ate BBQ JOES ! Was really good had a chopped bbq sandwich with bbq slaw . The pork had a very hint of smoke top 3 sandwiches in triad. Staneys was slightly better . ButBBQ JOES is number 2. Very moist just needs more smoke . Only suggestions I could make is change your fries they were not good . Crinkles would be so much better . But I will return lots. And the sauce was banging good“

“I have passed here once each week since Dec. It has been my restroom stop driving from Fayetteville to work. Usually, it's to early for me to eat. No one has ever stopped me for not ordering. Staff is always beautiful and nice. Today, I ordered the daily special pork chops, turnip greens, and homemade mashed potatoes. I must say, I have slept on this restaurant. My food was delightfully delicious, all the girls were accommodating, great stop over all. Feeling blessed, thanks! Pork chops tender and seasoned yummy...

“Visited today for the first time in 20 years. Business used to take me that way. Having retired, I wanted to go back. Everything about this place is real and authentic. Met Susan the owner, and came away so impressed. The story of the company is so what our country was built on. Everything is made from scratch using original recipes. Please stop in, you won’t be disappointed. And the hot dog is also excellent!“

“We love Cagney's! This one is convenient to my boyfriend's house and it is good for delivery, take out, and dine-in. The chicken pot pie may be the best i have ever had. The vegetables are delicious. I like to get a pot pie with carrots and green beans. They have a huge menu, but since the pot pie is so good, i usually get that. Their omelettes are good, too. I haven't gotten a bad meal at Cagney's.“

“My husband and I came in today and very sweet southern young lady waited on us and brought us our food ...she was very pleasant and the food was delicious! Bless her heart ...she seemed to be the only waitress in the whole building, but she never lost her smile! We need more employees like her ! Keep up the great work !!“

“Over all good experience. Food was good and had a friendly waiter.
Feedback: food could use some more or proper seasoning, waiter made a couple of mistakes however, she fixed them and wad friendly.
Kid-friendliness: Family friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very limited space, would ho estly be a cramped fit for a wheelchair. Would make it difficult for customers and employees to walk by.“

“Service is always good, food is tasty and cooked just as you ask for it! Staff has always been friendly as well! Can’t complain! Hands down great place to come which can be surprising from a chain restaurant!!!

“BIG SHOUTOUT TO TREY, he was there when I walked up as I usually have to wait at the walk up window not this time my main man Trey was there and took my order without any issues and the he made sure the order was done correctly even making sure it was what I asked for which was awesome. Thanks to true for everything even banging it up.“
