“We stopped by tonight after having dinner and I must say, LOVE THIS PLACE! The ice cream I had was the coffee espresso flavor with Amaretto and it was so creamy and delicious. They also have sorbet too! The staff is great with outgoing, friendly personalities. Everyone needs this place in your life and once you go you’ll see why.“

“Stupendously great gelato! I've been spoiled by a now-closed (COVID) gelato shop in Charleston, SC, as well as one in Raleigh. I did my research, and have visited both locations of Cafe Gelato. Fantastic gelato, great people. Fortunately, if I go out of my way, it's right on my way. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!“

“Got this Steelers ice cream cake for my husband’s Birthday two weeks ago and omg it is delicious Oreo ice cream with white cake and cool creamy butter cream frosting on the outside!! So bomb the service was Aight! But I’m rating this Cake all fives it’s so good!! Only cost me $43.00 after taxes. Also you have to Order 24-48hrs ahead“

“A party of four go into Mayberry about 3:10 this afternoon! We waited about 5 minutes to even be seated! No one seemed to know what to do! We had to keep moving as we waited so that a lady could sweep! We ordered just banana splits and 2 ice cream sundaes! They were brought to us in a timely manner and that was it! Never saw the waitress again until I paid! My grandson dropped his spoon, I got up to get him another, no one at the counter! One waitress just walked by me to get out the door! No wait staff to be seen in the restaurant! Everyone was in the kitchen, talking! One lady was standing in the opening and I know that she could see me at the counter, but she chose to ignore me! I was ready to go behind the counter, but couldn’t see any spoons! After 3-4 minutes a lady comes out! We finish and get up to leave, no bill! I go to counter and wait probably 5-7 mins. Cashier has to ring up 2-3 ice creams and some man was trying to get his to-go order and he had been waiting a while! When the cashier finally ask me why I’m there, I tell her to pay my bill! She has no bill, can not find it on the cash register! She asked me twice where we were sitting! While she calls our waitress, she rings it up and I finally paid! Doesn’t give me my change back, I have to tell her what I gave her and how much change she owes me! First time in a long time that we’ve been to Mayberry and probably won’t be going back! Wasn’t very busy this afternoon, lots of employees just standing around/in the kitchen doing nothing!“
