“My husband and I went here for the first time yesterday. I ordered the wing dinner w/ Mac&cheese and candied yams. My HoneyDo ordered Flounder (fried to perfection!) w/ fries and slaw. I grabbed a slice of strawberry short cake before we left🤤 EVERYTHING was deeelicious and the staff were all friendly. It's very rare these days that everything on your plate taste good! We will definitely be going back!😋😋“

“My wife and I went there tonight for our 3 year wedding anniversary dinner, being that we had never been, so I made reservations, immediately walked in and had a set table ready. Kurt, our server was above and beyond, to say the least! Ordered the special that he recommended, “best bang for your buck” and he was nothing shy of the truth! By far, one of the best dinners that we’ve experienced, and we are foodies; traveled and ate at some of the best restaurants imaginable, and I can gladly post this review, admitting that we will certainly be back! The ambiance, experience, quality and service was way beyond my expectations! Easily 5+ stars!“

“The wait here can be long at times, but it's worth the wait. I don't think they take reservations. We waited about 20 minutes but for an indoor seat. They have a lot more outdoor seating. The waitress was very busy and so forgot a few things. She would evening them. The food and wine selections were very good. I would go back when in the area.“

“I took my son here for his birthday on a Thursday. We were the only ones there which was fine, the staff was very nice and our waitress was very attentive. The food was great! I had the shrimp and grits and it was sooo good! My son had the chicken and waffles, mac n cheese, and yams. He loved it all and they gave plenty of food. “Love LJS! We only have this one near us. They were having some difficulty with their computer system when we were there. So we had a bit of a wait, and some waited longer than us. I truly love this place and WANT it to do well so it's not closed like the one in our town. But, LJS or the owner of this particular restaurant needs to give it some attention. The outside needs the area spruced up. The inside fairly well, but the cabinet door where ketchup and condiments were stored was hanging by 1 hinge. The employees were slow but focused on the orders on the system that had gone down. Glad to have this store, just want to keep it open.“
