Busy , but delicious
The biggest problem with Subway here is that they don’t seem to like being open for business. And when they are, the employee doesn’t actually know how to make Subway sandwiches. Don’t waste your time coming here.
8/14/2026 @ 3:55pm. Best sandwich I have ever had made at a Subway. The customer in front of me told me to pay attention to the details, and I did. This man and lady BOTH did their split duties on my sandwich perfectly. Perfect placement of the meat, cheese, and all the fixings. Perfect placement, evenly distributed sandwich. They changed their gloves properly, customer service was excellent…. Feeling very appreciative. Will be back, and will recommend!

The staff, including Joey and Liz, are friendly, professional, and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The store is clean and service is fast when not busy. However, during busy times, such as at the truck stop in Waynesville, there can be long waits, and limited options like only one type of bun and few veggies may affect the experience. Overall, the restaurant is praised for its quality and friendly service, making it a place worth visiting.
