“Went into the restaurant with a two-year-old sat down for lunch or two-year-old screamed very loud when we distracted him with toys, the second time he screamed was because my husband was changing something on the phone. Now when I go to eat, I don’t wanna be sitting there with a screaming year-old next to me so I do understand that. It’s not the point that my grandson was screaming. It’s the point that the owner or whoever was behind the register was so freaking rude. My grandson scream and the man behind the register scream. Yoooo, very loudly in front of everybody. the second time he screamed though he comes over very loudly if he screams like that one more time you’re gonna have to leave. well guess he did free one more time and he comes over to our table very loudly. You’ll have to leave. I’m gonna pack up your food. he packed up our food. We went out front and ate it.”

“Would I recommend this establishment? 10000% We reserved the upstairs for a private event and to say we were blown away is putting it mildly. How was the bartender/cocktails you ask? EXCELLENT! Service was top notch, drinks were awesome and she knew her stuff! How was the food? OMG! I can’t say enough….food was off the charts good. Steak tips, chicken picatta, mashed potatoes….😋😋😋😋 Did you have good service? YES! YES! A thousand times yes! Super nice and soooo accommodating! My only regret? I live to dang far! So please….heed my advice and run, don’t walk to make a reservation here! You won’t be sad…PINKY SWEAR!”

“We have been here a few times and our service and the food have always been phenomenal! This evening we stopped in at 730 knowing they close at 8. I asked them if they wanted me to get our order to go since there was 6 of us. They did not turn us away even though it was 30 minutes before they closed. They did not rush us and as always our food was perfection and the service was great. Oshu house will always have my business when I am craving Chinese. only thing that could make it better is Sushi and Lo-mein type dinner. You all are so great at cooking and customer service! Thank you for treating my family nicely even though I am sure you all were ready to close down and go home. Side note: we had all of our food and a to go order in 20 minutes! Just AMAZING plus your Seaweed Salad is beyond the best I have ever had!”

“We had Monte D Rey fix the food for a Taco Bar at our son's wedding for 150 people. They did a fantastic job on the portions and the quality was excellent. Guest were bragging on the taste all night. Could not have picked a better meal plan or restaurant. A BIG THANKS to Oscar and his team.....”

“Had a mix up and order was really late. Talked to waitress and my gosh they went above and beyond to make things right. Free order of wings and a gift card . Food was amazing . Hands down best burgers in town . Staff goes above and beyond to make your experience special. Highly recommend and my new go to place in west Jefferson. And the wings are really good.”

“We were visiting family from out of town and decided to pop in and visit the friendly local game store in West Jefferson. The staff was very nice and made us feel welcome (including my 8 year old), game selection was nice, and they had a nice variety of stuff, from board games to video games to toys to dice. There was a nice selection of games to try in the store too, with plenty of tables to play. They also had these neat freeze dried candies that we've never seen anywhere else! Thanks for making us feel welcome, and would definitely recommend a visit if you love games or nerdy stuff”

“The food was great an the Breakfast Buffet was really good an can't beat the price good serivce I'm 35 now an I remember coming here when I was little with my mom an dad an sister's now I'm bring my two kids here everytime I get a chance I highly recommend it I'm a over road truck driver an out of all the places I been this one of my favorite places to go eat when I come home”

“Boondocks is our go to when company visits. The wait staff is 10 out of 10 when it comes to service. Well behaved dogs are always welcome in the outdoor (but covered) seating area. My go to is the small fish and chips. Be sure and try the onion petals as a side. The lime cervas is the perfect pairing. Hard to go wrong with good food and cold beers. ENJOY!”

“The service was impeccable! Our waitress was friendly and polite! We ordered the crab rangoons for an appetizer and they were the best I have eaten! My cousin had the sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and egg roll, she said the fried rice was the best she had ever tasted! I had the cashew chicken, fried rice and egg roll, and it was all delicious!”

“The coffee house is a great place to eat everyone is really nice and helpful and the restaurant is always clean. Food is always on time, hot and fresh. And the waitresses there are amazing.”
