“We dropped into Barefoot Sandwich Shoppe on a whim and are so glad we did. The variety on the menu is impressive—there’s something for everyone, whether you’re after a comforting classic or something a little more unique. Everything we ordered was packed with flavor and clearly made with fresh ingredients. We decided to get the cheese steak sandwich, hot dogs, grilled cheese, a veggie wrap and each had a side of their signature crispy fries! The food was so good, I didn’t even get a chance to snap a photo—I dove right in and couldn’t put my fork down. That alone says a lot. The staff was friendly, attentive, and created a genuinely welcoming vibe. The atmosphere was laid-back but inviting, making it a perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a great meal. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. This place is a gem!”

“Melvin’s is pure nostalgia. The best down home burgers & dogs spot in the whole of NC. If I could give them more than 5✨, it’d be over a thousand. No matter if you’re stopping in for a quick lunch, or wanting to buy 20 burgers with all the fixings, they don’t bat a single eyelash. If I ever get married again, I’m coming here to get the burgers for the reception. It’s that good! I crave it.”

“Had a late lunch today , the food was delicious and the service was exemplary ! Candice Carroll went way about and beyond , one of the absolute best wait staff servers I’ve ever experienced. She always had a smile on her face, and checked on us often. Giorgio’s is very blessed to have this young lady on their staff. I’m be asking for her area from now on .”

“My family and I were on our way back home from the beach when we stopped in here for breakfast and we were not disappointed. The coffee was just what we needed and all of the food was delicious. They have full breakfast plates with just about anything you could want from eggs, bacon, and pancakes to liver pudding and country ham. The lady serving us was incredibly polite and attentive, making sure that we had everything we needed and double checking our large order to make sure it was right. My dad raved about his western omelet, well done hashbrowns, bacon, and biscuit for a long time after, saying "I think that was about the best meal we've had all week."”

The Cork Room is a such a nice restaurant. Caylee was top-notch -- friendly and attentive. Her recommendations were appreciated. We enjoyed the pimento cheese, the shrimp and grits, and the Elvis. I am not a fan of onions or peppers so she made sure the chef did not add onions and peppers to my shrimp and grits. There are so many other items we want to try; so we will return.”

“Our party VERY MUCH enjoyed a variety of items including onion petal appetizer, grilled salmon, ribeye and sirloin steaks. The rolls were hot and very soft, the side and Caesar salads were fresh, the loaded baked potatoes were huge, and EVERYTHING was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The server was very attentive and friendly. We hope to return again when we’re in the area.”

“Little country fast food. Staff didn't appear to have any specific tire. They talked about anything & and everything, even if it wasn't appropriate for the atmosphere. The food was good, but the portion was small on the sides for the pricing.”

“My original review for this Burger King was that it is very consistent and they always get my order right. In the last 3 months this place has gone down fast. Every single time I order it is missing something. Breakfast or dinner, it will be missing the eggs, cheese or my double burger will be missing a patty. EVERY TIME I HAVE ORDERED IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS! It's happened so many times the app doesn't even rectify the situation any more. I have to wait for an email and send pictures of proof and wait for a week to hear back. I'm done with this location. My family ate here 3 times a week. We won't anymore.”
