“It was very good biscuit with very fluffy eggs with just the way I like them well done the sausage patty fit the bread it was just working I really enjoyed it and I also enjoyed my cup of coffee perfectKid-friendliness: The warm welcome they give the kids“
“Absolutely amazing eatery!!!! We went with my in-laws (who go when in the area including the day prior), and were absolutely blown away!!! From the kindness of the wait staff to the Chef Kevin coming out to speak to diners, everything was 20 stars!!! Having allergy issues, they were beyond accommodating to my needs and my son wouldn't stop eating his chicken to try his French Fries - if that doesn't say it all, nothing will!!! HIGHLY Recommend to anyone and everyone who is in the mood for fantastic food and service! I wish we had taken photos, the chicken salad was HUGE and the Deep Fried Deviled Eggs are delectable, but the food was too good!!! We would have sat outside (fur babies allowed outside), but it was just a bit too cold and windyDietary restrictions: More than happy to accommodate as well as confirm through ingredient lists to avoid allergiesKid-friendliness: Coloring page menu and super friendly to kiddosWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible and accommodating in seating“
“On our first visit with some friends from up there was good food. You order at a counter and then they will bring your food to the table. They don't have just pizza either. We got some wings, a pizza, and some French fries. Our friends got a pizza and some kinda loaded fries and them things looked so good!! Our pizza was delicious and the wings were way spicy (I like mine mild) but they were good. My son spilled a drink and they were super nice about cleaning it up. Great experience!“
“Great food and service. Inside and outside seating. The food was delicious. They serve breakfast at lunch time too when we were there. I got an omelette and the husband got a breakfast burrito. The waitress was very kind. Free parking along street. It is located on a one way street.Located with other business close to walk to.Parking: Free street parking. When it fills up it can be a little tricky to find parking. Located on a one way street“
“Their grilled cheese is the best I've ever had anywhere and their double burger even brought my Air Force Shark Feed Champion brother to his knees! Their tator tots are perfectly crispy. Today we sat by the window, had a lovely lunch and watched the Christmas Parade. It was a perfect ending to their visit!“
“BJ's Diner is made when you order it. Yes they are backed up because they are that good and it is a small place. There was a line and I only ordered their onion rings. I did have to wait a little bit but got my onion rings before some of the guests that were there before me. Please keep in mind when they make a meal, the hamburgers take longer than just dropping in onion rings. It is easier to drop in several orders of onion rings or fries and fill those orders than it is to make the delicious burgers. So yes, some people get their order first if it is that simple and can be made as they make them for the hamburger orders. It gets the easy orders out of the way and gives customers more room to sit or whatever. The burgers and onion rings are well worth the wait. Can't wait to try their Philly cheese sandwich.“
“Finally made it to River and Rails and I have been wanting to try this place for awhile. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon around 12:30PM. We did have to wait for a bit for someone to notice us and take us to be seated. We picked to sit outside and didn't have anyone to come to us in about 10 minutes plus we were getting a little cold so we came back inside to sit. Of course had to get some drinks. I went with the 120 House Margarita which was pretty good and at $10 not bad. The bar was backed up so did take a little for drinks but our waitress did give us a heads up. Would for sure some here to watch a game since they have a lot of drink options plus cheap drinks like $2 Busch Light and $3 PBR Tall Boys. I will say the menu is loaded with amazing sounding options. They had all day Brunch options that sounded great then bar and Southern food too. They had a soup of the day which I had to try which was Cajun Clam Chowder. It was great! Great flavor and spices, full of clams and was the perfect consistency . Not to thick like many chowders I have had. I took awhile to make a decision but I ended up going with the Country Catfish & Grits which I got Cajun Cornmeal Fried (Blackened is also an option) which is topped with Cajun Cream Sauce. Of course sign me up. Our food came out and it looked great. Large piece of fish, rich Cream Sauce, Cheesy Jalapeno Grits, and with my Greens on the side. This was great and I would for sure get it again. They even make there own hot sauce which I loved too. Everyone we were with also enjoyed there food since everything was delicious. The only reason for 4 and 5 five stars was due to the service which again wasn't bad just a little slow. We will for sure be back maybe for some drinks and great food.“
“Had a great lunch with my wife today. I enjoyed the salad with chicken and she had the sliders. Food was great!! Atmosphere was very comfortable. We Met Gene who is a manager and we have a great conversation with him and he was very gracious to us. We definitely recommend stopping in for a meal and get to enjoy this establishment.“
“Everytime I go I enjoy quick and friendly service and delicious food. An absolute gem. One of the best burgers you could get in these parts. Fresh and hot too! They've got nice outdoor covered seating and parking is super close. They have breakfast and catering too! Never a bad experience!“
“I have to be completely honest, I did not have high expectations for this small restaurant. The employees could have been more friendly, but alas we were very hungry. The food was quick and delicious! Everyone in my party seemed very happy and satisfied. I would recommend it but be prepared to pay. It was pricey!“
“Great spot with a good choice of options. We went seafood and had clam chowder (excellent), trout bites (excellent), and seafood Alfredo pasta. The seafood and past got a little lost in the sauce, and a piece of toasted bread or two would have been welcome. Great overall.“
“Probably my favorite place to eat in Sylva besides Josh's Backstreet Takeout. Love their Caesar wraps and grilled chicken sandwich, and weekly wing flavor specials that are always A++ (got the pineapple wings on a whim this week and was surprised at how good they were). Good quality wing in and of itself which is a must for a place that serves wings. Only a few times did I get a super small portion or had part of my order missing or wrong. They are nice, just double check your order before you leave if ordering takeout!“
“My wife and I's families decided on having our wedding party at this location and we were not disappointed! I had been here before when it was the Nantahala Brewing Company, but it must have changed hands. The staff were very patient with us, Nate was incredibly informative about the area, and JC was an excellent server! Very polite and thoughtful, even after we ran them both nearly to death. Kudos to them. I had the grilled chicken salad and it was phenomenal, and my wife said the burger was excellent. We appreciate you accommodating all of us! Would highly recommend Bryson City Brewing!“
“We ate here while visiting Cherokee. My smash burger was good. My husband liked his pork belly ramen. At first the host was rude, making us wait 5 minutes to sit at a table that was open and ready the full 5 minutes. But, our waiter quickly made up for him.“
“Stopped in on 3/18/24 to grab a bite before heading to our cabin for the night. I had the wings(Buffalo, hot flavor) and the Philly cheesesteak sammich. I enjoyed it! The wings weren’t anything spectacular in size but the taste was great! The service was great and just liked the place. We will return during future trips to Bryson City.“
“Great brewery, the owner Greg is very personable and great knowledge of beers. Makes great combinations and every beer we tried we enjoyed. My Wife and I made the trip from Gatlinburg and weren’t disappointed, and got to see some Elk around 430 pm back to our Air BnB through Newfound Gap Rd“
