“I cannot say enough within this review to express how excellent Benny’s is. Firstly, the atmosphere is capturing from the exterior in. A beautiful, classic pizzeria with luxury table tops, stained glass fixtures, rustic wood floors and brick walls that provides an elegant yet warm feel throughout the dining experience. The service and hospitality were superb; every interaction from the host, bartender, server, and manager allowed me to feel welcomed and accommodated. Each member went above and beyond for my friend’s engagement celebration. We were greeted promptly and generously. I met the manager, Drew, and my server, Lauren, who were both fantastic. Lauren made us the best cocktails. She even juiced real apples to make the most phenomenal drink I have ever had. We ordered a pizza and Strombolis, which were all fantastic. They both came with a fresh salad and warm, crispy fries. We ended our experience with gelato, and even though our bellies were so full and happy, I don't think we could ever go back without getting the gelato for dessert. Everything was clean, beautiful, and tasty—just perfection. If you want a fun evening with exquisite food, friendly service, as well as a memorable experience, Benny’s is the place to go. Definitely a 10/10 all the way around and one of the best places in Wilmington to dine. Amazing for a celebration with friends and family or just a date night. Highly recommend!“

“We were a little disappointed. The food was OK, but it wasn't great. It came out lukewarm. Our pork cheek appetizer didn't have near enough chips to go with it; we didn't ask for more because they appeared to be regular potato chips, not homemade.

The specialty cocktails were not good. Avoid them and just order your regular gi-to drink or a bottle of wine.

The pasta was good, but again, the food wasn't served warm.

“I just had anniversary dinner there. Lamb gnocchi and my wife had braised short rib. Started off with fried Brussels sprouts as an appetizer. Ended with an espresso mousse with whipped cream in a coffee cup (I enjoyed the pun on that), and my wife had tiramisu. Everything was phenomenal! The chef wasn’t there, but the sous chef did a great job! I highly recommend!“

“First time my husband and I had ever eaten here and it was delicious and the prices were good. The staff were amazing especially when we accidentally dropped our leftover spaghetti and meatballs. They gave us a brand new one on the house even though they didn't have too and we didn't ask. We will definitely be going back and I recommend this place to anyone.“

“What an amazing first experience we had tonight! My wife and I live in Myrtle Beach, but our child lives here. We are staying at their place watching their pets while they are away. This place has been on our to try list for a while now and we finally had the opportunity. What an incredible experience! The food was outstanding! The flavor was on point and the servings were huge! My wife and I each had an amazing pasta dish and split the largest piece of coconut cake we have ever seen. “We went to Roko Italian restaurant last night, for New Year’s Eve, in Wilmington . We sat at the bar, Jason took care of us , if you’re looking for the ultimate experience and great customer service sit at the bar and let him wine and dine you you’ll simply love it just like we did . “My wife and I recently visited the Osteria Cicchetti for an appetizer and a drink to just relax and have some "us time". We sat in the bar area at a high top table for two and our server was Danielle. She was friendly, polite, helpful and made our visit even more enjoyable but not rushing us. We ordered the Margherita Pizza, a glass of white wine and a Stella Artois. Everything was just right... Danielle bought us over some Italian bread and Flatbread, which we both like. I added some olive oil with sea salt and black pepper to my dish so that we had some dipping "sauce". All in all we both really enjoyed our visit to the O.C. for an appetizer and relaxation time.“

“When I preach in Castle Hayne, many of the parishioners & I go to Uncle Louie's for lunch after worship. Both the food & service are outstanding; menu prices are very reasonable, & they have many delicious offerings. Salads are always fresh & well-prepared as well as their huge pizza slices, lasagna, & spaghetti, but Italian food isn't all Uncle Louie's offers. Their club sandwich is delicious; so are their shrimp. Such a wonderful family atmosphere to enjoy great food, outstanding service, & visit with family & friends. Yes, I highly recommend Uncle Louie's & look forward to going back.“

“Let’s start with the Deli , my favorite the Haley. Now I am a retired culinary Particulartarian ***yes I made this word up ; however I have never been displeased with customer service, the loving spirit of staff or with the quality of food. Broccoli not soggy one bit, cheese perfect and sun dried tomatoes tasty!! i haven't had a calzone in years and I was very pleased. Maybe keep it in a deep friar a bit longer?“

“The flavor of the food is delicious! The accolades are well deserved. My brother and I ate here twice in a span of three days despite wanting to sample all things Wilmington. The bread was fresh and flavorful and the meats-topiings were par excellence! Could not have asked for a more flavorful meal. The price is a little higher than subway but the satisfaction from the meal is beyond compare. A+, 10/10, 5 star all the superlatives apply. Next time I'm in wilmington I'm putting this place on the list of stops!“
