“I cannot say enough within this review to express how excellent Benny’s is. Firstly, the atmosphere is capturing from the exterior in. A beautiful, classic pizzeria with luxury table tops, stained glass fixtures, rustic wood floors and brick walls that provides an elegant yet warm feel throughout the dining experience. The service and hospitality were superb; every interaction from the host, bartender, server, and manager allowed me to feel welcomed and accommodated. Each member went above and beyond for my friend’s engagement celebration. We were greeted promptly and generously. I met the manager, Drew, and my server, Lauren, who were both fantastic. Lauren made us the best cocktails. She even juiced real apples to make the most phenomenal drink I have ever had. We ordered a pizza and Strombolis, which were all fantastic. They both came with a fresh salad and warm, crispy fries. We ended our experience with gelato, and even though our bellies were so full and happy, I don't think we could ever go back without getting the gelato for dessert. Everything was clean, beautiful, and tasty—just perfection. If you want a fun evening with exquisite food, friendly service, as well as a memorable experience, Benny’s is the place to go. Definitely a 10/10 all the way around and one of the best places in Wilmington to dine. Amazing for a celebration with friends and family or just a date night. Highly recommend!“

“A special place! They have steak and salad but I say try something more interesting. We got many seafood dishes and some Italian fare. Every bite was absolutely excellent. For me, the appetizers were my favorite part. Relaxed atmosphere but still exceptional service you expect with fine dining. When you take a bite of the rigatoni, all your troubles will melt away and you’re a small happy child once more. We celebrated a birthday and the desert was on the house. Classy. Btw no matter how full you are DO NOT pass on the salted caramel panna cotta. Every one needs to taste it. Apparently in the late afternoon reservations can be snagged from parties who canceled. We made a reservation ourselves a month in advance. Worth it.“

“We have been to Sugo multiple times. Each and every time our visit was fabulous! From the hostess desk, to the servers, to the managers the service has been top notch. They truly make you feel welcome.
We love the bacon appetizer and the carpaccio of beef. Both are delicious.
We have enjoyed the veal and pasta dishes. They are all very good. For us though, the star dishes are the steaks. The skirt steak and the filet mignon with sauces are excellent. The porterhouse for two was better than the last steak we had at Peter Luger. Each time the steaks were cooked exactly as ordered. Every steak we have had here has been outstanding! You can’t go wrong with any of the side dishes as well.
The sides we have tried have been delicious!
We always look forward to our next visit. Even the sunsets have been beautiful. They have a great view!

“What an amazing first experience we had tonight! My wife and I live in Myrtle Beach, but our child lives here. We are staying at their place watching their pets while they are away. This place has been on our to try list for a while now and we finally had the opportunity. What an incredible experience! The food was outstanding! The flavor was on point and the servings were huge! My wife and I each had an amazing pasta dish and split the largest piece of coconut cake we have ever seen. Now, you would think after all that I just wrote that would be the best part of our experience, but it wasn’t! The absolute best part was one of the kindest people we have ever met, Bella! “We went to Roko Italian restaurant last night, for New Year’s Eve, in Wilmington . We sat at the bar, Jason took care of us , if you’re looking for the ultimate experience and great customer service sit at the bar and let him wine and dine you you’ll simply love it just like we did . “My wife and I recently visited the Osteria Cicchetti for an appetizer and a drink to just relax and have some "us time". We sat in the bar area at a high top table for two and our server was Danielle. She was friendly, polite, helpful and made our visit even more enjoyable but not rushing us. We ordered the Margherita Pizza, a glass of white wine and a Stella Artois. Everything was just right... Danielle bought us over some Italian bread and Flatbread, which we both like. I added some olive oil with sea salt and black pepper to my dish so that we had some dipping "sauce". All in all we both really enjoyed our visit to the O.C. for an appetizer and relaxation time.“

“I seemed to have been here at an unusually busy time? Food-wise there are good ingredients being used on the burger and the cook does a good job of preparing BUT they’re missing a good expo to run food and make sure the ticket matches the order. I was missing a sauce and saw the cook running food numerous times to tables. Seems like they need an upgrade at manager. Anyway, I’ve heard poor reviews about the pizza so I tried it myself. This is not an award winning recipe by any means but the slices are huge. Perfect if you need a vehicle to get toppings ingested but I would not recommend plain as it truly is not impressive at all. Decent spot for watching sports at the bar. Seems like a place that caters to local regulars more than passers by. The ginger bartender girl was awesome and handled a lot going on at once. She seemed to be the only glue holding it together in the front of the house. With little competition they’ll make it but it wouldn’t hurt to polish up the operation a bit.“

Now I am a retired culinary Particulartarian ***yes I made this word up ; however I have never been displeased with customer service, the loving spirit of staff or with the quality of food. The course meal dining experience is out of this world! Despite that, the hostess provided exceptional customer service. She never made us feel like an inconvenience or rushed, even though it was near closing time. Her friendly attitude and professionalism really stood out and made us feel welcome.
