“I had been driving and working all day, I was starved and my son was at home waiting on me to make dinner, I stopped at the local subway, Darrell was fantastic, made our dinner and night perfect! Helped with the menu, made some great suggestions, made the process super easy, and very pleasant to deal with. Thank you! Also Clean restrooms, fast service and delicious! “Every time we come to town, we make a stop (or two) at Mimi and Papa’s. It’s been 6 months since I was last here, and Jordan remembered me as soon as I walked in today. This is a very sweet family with a spirit of excellence. The ice cream and popcorn are outstanding and reasonably priced. It’s icing on the cake to support a family-owned business! Can’t say enough good about this hidden treasure!!!”

“The most delicious frozen custard in North Carolina. No wait—on the East Coast! We stopped by to pick up a couple pints then noticed a sign for Shamrock Shakes. Did not know the business expanded so took advantage of purchasing the shakes along with 3 different pint flavors. Yum! The shakes were a perfect thickness and so creamy and delicious. I used to pick up my “yearly” Shamrock shake from McDonalds but no longer—Kremium has spoiled me for life!”

“This was our first trip out here to BSL and we finally stopped in for a drink! I was surprised that they offered a flavored Matcha Tea Latte, PEACH! So good! My wife got the 50 lakes latte and loved it!Thank you guys for the great experience!Dietary restrictions: They have some gluten free snacks.Kid-friendliness: The outside seating is somewhat gated so it’s super easy to let the kids walk around.”

“I love mankind brewing! Ashtyn greeted me with a warm smile and provided exceptional, friendly service throughout my visit. The bar itself was impeccably clean and well-kept. Ashtyn’s attention to detail really enhanced my overall experience. I can’t recommend Ashtyn and Mankind Brewing Company enough. Five stars all around!”

“Winnie's Tavern is a hole in the wall spot you won't regret coming to! A small low-key diner vibe, with humble and tasteful ambiance. The service and staff was well trained and very much professional with no missed movements. The food was appetizing with an aroma of flavor not only in the food but also in the air walking towards the restaurant. I ordered the onion rings to start which came out hot and delicious with a very flavorful sauce. For my main course I ordered the Sunny Point which was delicious but messy with a non toasted bun which did not help its case, maybe less might be more but still good. The fries were tasty and with a wide variety of side sauces to choose from, as well they serve their sodas in cans, which isn't bad but unexpected. Over all I recommend this place for its vibes and food, come if you want a hole in the all spot to eat at.”

“Small local diner with a nice selection of fried fish and other assorted seafood. Featuring fried fresh oysters which were very delicious. I also had the crab nuggets which were almost like deviled crab that was breaded and deep-fried but, so unbelievably tasty!”

“My wife and I ordered Steak Fajitas to go. This is the 4th time we’ve done so, and they were outstanding, as always. (The hot sauce is hot!)! So consistent. The food temperature was hot, and so delicious. The portion of steak was incredibly generous! The refried beans and rice were (and always are) perfect. We’ve tried a variety of their dishes, and we’ve never been disappointed. The food at this restaurant is the real deal!!”

I recommend their salads and their ciders are very good if you're gluten free. Their gluten and dairy free pizza is decent. If you are going to get the Pizza, I recommend the white one or the might meat pizza GF.Dietary restrictions: Dairy free cheeseKid-friendliness: My 2 boys LOVE going. “Great place to eat and spend time with family and friends. I play free poker there every Sunday for 5 hours . I have had a few menus items. All have been good, even the pita bread and hummus and the pork grinds. I am planning to do something different every time. “Shrimp and grits were great. Raw oysters were good as well. The scallop appetizer was a little small, as were the scallops themselves, but still delicious. Lobster roll wasn't my favorite, although it was pretty meaty. i just prefer warm with butter to dip over cold. Egg white on the hangover fries was a little underdone but not to the point of being inedible. Although I absolutely hate undercooked egg whites, it's better than overcooked yolk in this instance. Went back twice since my first visit a month ago. Would recommend.”

“Ordered the chilaquiles w pastor via doordash since they were just added on there. First off, it's a TON of food, all packaged nicely for delivery. Very good flavor for the pastor, the pineapple was a nice touch. The salsa verde had great heat, probably the best I have had in this area. Rice and beans had a mellow flavor to complement it all. Will definitely order again and try other things.”

“Milly's serves Hershey's hard ice cream and Dole soft serve. The venue is super clean and the staff was very very friendly. Prices were reasonable as the size of a single scoop is tremendous so be aware of that as you may end up with more than you bargained for... But what the hell it is ice cream ? and good premium ice cream at that... Not gooey or gummy like some other ice creams. Give it a try you will not regret it!”

“A manger by the name of Noah made my first Firehouse Subs experience extremely delightful! He was wonderfully polite and patient as well as welcoming! I will be returning and telling friends!! Food was also very very nice.”

“We tried Wheelz Pizza in Leland for lunch the other day. The sauce taste more like fresh tomato, not canned tomato sauce. Sour dough crust...don't really know if I am a fan. You definitely need to be expecting it. The place is clean, the young lady that waited on me was polite and knowledgeable, and the pizza ingredients are fresh! We will definitely visit again. Oh, and chocolate chip cookie was pretty tasty!!I ordered a sausage pizza with 3 veggies. It was recommended that I do a Supreme as it is a cheaper way to go.”
