“Food had great flavor. I had the all white quarter chicken and truffle fries with a 22 oz Celtic Ale. Drink was prepared for. Me to take to my table of choice (I chose outside). I had my food before 1/4 of my drink was gone. My daughter got the All American Burger and mac-n-cheese with tea. The price is reasonable for the great service, atmosphere, food and beer received. I will definitely be back!“

“We have been once before, years ago, and didn't recall it being that great. Last night was WONDERFUL!! The staff were so kind and attentive. They noticed my plate was semi empty and immediately asked if I had a special request for meats. I am sooo impressed with this place. Food was hot and speedy. Our waitress went above and beyond for my mother-in-law's birthday with a free dessert. Thank you for making it so special. We will be back! Everyone in our 7 person party left full and happy!“

“Slappy's Chicken Slaps! The chicken is super crunchy and sauce is out-of-this-world good! It's a perfect mix of BBQ and hot sauce. Slappy's Chicken is the definition of a hidden gem and is worth the wait. This establishment is normally lined out the door and down the sidewalk. The sides are all phenomenal, especially the Mac and cheese.

“Some of thee best patties I've ever had! I didn't want the beef but the chicken & vegetable patties were sold out. The guy that works there is friendly & a great cook. I would drive from wherever for this gas station Jamaican food. Everything was clean & tasty. I went two days in a row. The curry goat, cabbage, spinach rice and plantains, the small plate was enough for two servings. The patty was amazing, I didn't make it out of the parking lot until it was gone. The ground beef was seasoned so well, not salty or greasy. The crust was light & flaky with a little give that was homemade perfection.“

“I did a catering order from the Loew's Chicken Kitchen on Reynolds Road in Winston Salem on 10/17/2020 for chicken, collard greens and cornbread and jalapeno cornbread, let me just say it was a huge hit for my party every single thing was prepared fresh the chicken was hot upon my arrival. I started the initial order with Camille who made sure she answered everyone of questions if I didn't ask she told me, the prices was great and although Camille was off today her team did an EXCELLENT JOB.
