As a former service worker it’s agonizing to watch them drowning in orders knowing it could have been prevented. You have a line put the door and 10 people waiting for drinks- only one person who is tasked with running drink register and making drinks. Do better for your employees. Barista was excellent. The treatment caused adverse, effects. My Daughters paid her a visit, during, Christmas of 22 and discovered it on the menu. They purchased it. My Mom Loved it and has desired another, since. My only critique is, I would like to see them switch to a palastic or styrofoam hotdog container for takeout/delivery. Most of the chili and cheese was on the foil they wrapped them in. I plan on ordering again so I can try them when they are nice and hot!“

“Kimono’s is my favorite Japanese place around. My go-to is spicy teriyaki steak with udon noodles and zucchini. It really doesn’t get much better.

The staff is always a treat as well, they are always very welcoming!

If you’re in the area and like Japanese food. I recommend giving Kimono’s a shot.“

The only drawback here is that, at the time of writing this, they have no policy or staff training about how to handle a difficult customer. There was a drunk patron... I mean this guy was wasted. He was loud and clueless and was wandering from table to table attempting to strike up conversations with strangers as if he were in a bar. The only problem is that Mizu is not a bar. It's a rather nice Japenese Restaurant. Staff were tiptoeing around this guy and trying to avoid him. Which put a number of sober customers in very uncomfortable situations. This is a shame. I'm sure that Mizu is a perfectly wonderful experience on evenings when they're not serving the town drunk. They need policies and training to handle this kind of thing.“

“I stopped into Winkler Bakery—the historic, delicious-smelling gem of Old Salem—to pick up some chocolate chip cookies for Santa. You know… being a responsible adult, spreading holiday cheer, doing my duty as a contributing member of Christmas society.

But the moment I walked in, that warm bakery aroma hit me like a sugary freight train. I swear one of the cookies whispered,
“Come closer… Santa doesn’t need all of us…”

These chocolate chip cookies aren’t just cookies.
